I think if I understand her well, she says if you are a sinner God will not hear your prayer. I think she is wrong. God will listen to all whether sinners or not.

I think you may be mistaken. If Angela is quoting from Isaiah, it's probably Isaiah 59:1-2 which states, "Surely the arm of Yahweh is not too short to save, nor his ear to dull to hear. But your iniquities have separated you from him; your sins have hidden his face from you, so t hat he will not hear."
