I visited this site the first week of August and despite the lake level being down a bit, and considerable sand haing been introduced from a dredging operation to the south, this installation had NOT collected any sand and there were clearly visible deep holes in the sand on the inside face of the installation. It does not collect and cannot "save" any sand.
