Some of these albums are more progressive metal than tech if you ask me. Real technical thrash includes Coroners first four, Artillery, Toxik, Watchtower, Forbidden, Sadus, Obliveon and Vektor. And maybe Voivods Nothingface album too.
@grimmenigma949 There was no single band that sucked, maybe you should stay away from the technicaal stuff and go back and listen to some primitive crapthrash like violator or some razor, fagot...

nice vid and i found out back in the day the band watchtower did a European tour w/ coroner and tht would have been amazing to go see im surprised they did cause any venues to explode
That depressive Age song isn't even Thrash. And I was hoping by techno you meant technical (skilled), not this synthesized, electrical buffoonery mesh with guitars! You hit the target with some bands like Coroner and Anacrusis, but the rest of the list is a disgrace.
Go back and listen to some early Mekong Delta, Assorted Heap, Obliveon, etc.
Techno-thrash, tech-thrash/tech-metal---it really doesn't matter to me. These are the bands that I'm into. Depressive Age/D-Age is great! I've never actually met anyone into this German powerhouse. Nice work and thanks for the post. Are you into Kong? Now that's a band!

well, maybe it's because you were too young to remember these days. It was a term used by the media to describe the prog-thrash/industrial of the 90's.
some of the bands you see in this video are influenced by 80's industrial bands such as Godflesh. Especially kreator (renewal), coroner (grin) and voivod (in their mid nineties stuff).
Hey man please, don't call this music Techno-thrash... call it technical-thrash, because in this new world "techno" means other thing... more like the techno-music, sound by machines and operatives systems (After-partys)... but anyway, you have done a good selection of technical-thrash...
My favouritest band! An the others also OK, I like music like Watchtower, Xentrix, Blind illusion, Vio-lence, Artillery, Despair, Anacrusis, Testament etc very much. technical/progressive thrash rullez!
this guy just put gothic rock sounding songs! this has nothing to do with techno thrash, techno is an abreviation for technical, so there should be real technical thrash bands like toxik or artillery!
can you tell us in which particular song you heard gothic rock sounds? The bands you are referring to, are techno thrash of the 80's. This video is oriented to the 90's style. If you think that techno thrash is only bands like toxik and realm, you must wake up. Most of the bands in my video played techical thrash with a touch of industrial. It is techno thrash of the 90's. Wake up.
techno thrash or techno metal would suggest to me bands like die krupps, ministry (the industrial metal bands)bands like corroner, where regarded as 'technical' thrash metal bands.
Coroner adopted industrial elements in their music to the Grin album (their best album in my personal opinion). Serpent moves is a song from this particular album. Tommy's solo is one of the best solos I've ever heard. It is thrash, it is industrial and it is technical too => Techno thrash of the 90's.
