  • I really hope he puts more effort into his Eurovision entry.

  • now that the song that always been in our hearts...cuz it never dies....very nice song..as always

  • non sapevo che si sia fatto mettere i cuscinetti sotto gli zigomi. resta comunque uno dei più grandi degli anni 70.

  • Two questions come to mind. (1) why is he universally loved? and (2) who the heck willingly adopts the name "Humperdinck"?

  • Naaaawww.. look at all those heads of white hair in the audience... so cute!! haha

  • Like him there are other anglo-indian celebrities who deny their Indian heritage. Ava Gardner, the Hollywood actress, comes to mind. It used to be a social stigma.

  • For all the divorced men in the world

  • To all the divorced men in the world

  • Thank You for checking out his new song, I knew you would love and appreciate it. Yes, the band was not up to par, and I have to admit I am blinded to any imperfections he may have!! Just love and respect this man so much! So glad you checked out his website!!

HE is still playing Vegas, to sold out venues! And he is better then ever. Check out a concert sometime!!! Hey we all get old, but Engelbert for 73 is still drop dead gorgeous, has more energy than men half his age, still has that powerful voice, and I for one will go on loving him ENDLESSLY which by the way is the title of his NEW release.. One of his BEST! You should listen to it sometime.

  • A 'classy' ,quality voice will always stand the test of time! i hope i look that good in later years!!

  • I love all his songs and this is one of my favourite and thanks a million

  • @mumsey163 Read in the book what his wife says about him-In the opening chapter of his book he spent the first 10 years of his life in Madras now called Chennai in India his father was in the Army in India in WW2 Who died in 1984 l've got the book

  • wht his nationality? i love his eyes!! and voice

  • He is British

  • but isn;t his mother or father from india

  • His parents are both from Great Britan and were stationed there with the army until after the war. Enge was born there but that doesn't make him Indian. I suggest that yoy read his autobiography "WHATS IN A NAME"

  • ok i googled him ok but we have a family friend whose dad is english and her mom is indian and she was like Engelbert Humperdinck is anglo indian and that is what ronnyd13 He's actually Half British and Half Indian. In India, they call his community Anglo Indians because of their part English Heritage.

He was born in Madras,a city in Southern India

on May 2nd 1936. His real name is George Alan Dorsey.

  • His name is not george alan dorsey it is Arnold George Dorsey and both of his parents are British born in England. I repeat, READ THE BOOK AND SEE THE PICTURES OF HIS PARENTS. THEY ARE NOT INDIAN.
