Also, a Christian Uni will admit they are trying to produce a committed Christian citizen, yet an average Uni won't admit they're trying to produce a secular humanist w/ left political views. It's a 'seminary' since leftism is a religion ie. requires faith over reason. :)

I'm not a leftist. The United States government is mind-bendingly enormous from the federal to the local level, yet they haven't started killing people like Russia and Germany did. Big government is a terrible, wasteful, disgusting thing that destroys hope and diverts resources away from where they are needed (health care for indigent people, education, etc) and spends it on unnecessary nonsense, like TSA, ATF, federal departments of education, etc. However it doesn't necessarily start killing.

We agree. My point re killing is not that the large State will eventually kill unjustly (yet there's an argument for that) but that a large State is what's in common with all the mass atrocity of the last 100. It is in prioritizing liberty over our instinct for egalitarianism (BIG State needed) which makes Americanism inherently anti left. So arguing for bigger State is usually indicative of a leftist.
