  • This one with the flat top and rail is better IMO.

Just slam on a TRS-25 or a Micro T1 and ready to party.

Would be awesome if this was coming to civilian market...

It'd probably come in handy also for military contractors with strict size and weight considerations, like apc crews, airborne units.

  • they call it an FMG 9, but i have also heard FPG 9, anyone know the difference?

  • Sons of Gun hella copied this.

  • Girl ik weve been together so long and ik ive been waiting to show you.....its my glock in a box.

  • IT STILL NEEDS A SPRING LOADED BUTT PLATE TO GIVE IT MORE LENGTH (MIGHT HELP WITH TAMING FULL AUTO RECOIL TOO)..JUST A LITTLE TOO SHORT OTHERWISE FANTASTIC!!! (SORRY CAPS BUTTON BROKE OFF)

  • Dear Santa...

  • is Mr Fitzpatrick still the ceo of magpul??

  • is that going to be offered for sale?

  • This was used prominently in robocop 2. So no it's not a new design.

  • Lol he thinks he is the man ;D

  • Load one of these up with VBR-Belgium's 9mm AP ammo, and you would have the perfect NATO PDW.

  • this is a piece of work, wow

  • It reminds me of that kid's gun from Robocop 2.

  • I want it!

  • I want it. So bad.

  • the guns called the FMG-9 or something

  • WOW. I...WANT...ONE....

  • o man i love it..i dont even know how many laws that breaks here in new jersey

  • Ultimate open carry?

  • man Magpul rocks!

  • lmao its like the monkey gun or mag-charger from time splitters :P

  • mass effect

  • LOL. Its a Glock in a Box

  • can he chew that gum any harder to look cooler?

  • murphy's law says "99% of the time you come up with an original idea, someone has had already thought it up previously"

magpul just copied the whole weapon.the original concept comes from a prototype weapon called the Ares FMG that was developed in the 90's. (the didn't even bother change the name!!!)

there are videos in youtube showing that weapon, just search around.

  • Yea, I think your right brother,

Im guessing they bought the design or production license; in this day and age you cant just rip off designs without consequences. i have not seen this weapon but Im guessing they also made some patented adjustments to justify calling it their own.

  • they look pretty handy at war

  • thirdkill888 , Hope ya have a concealed carry as well as a class 3 and D.D. license (probably on the destructive device license...) this isn't too hard of a concept but the fact it is as polished as it is shows that MAGPUL is a "forward thinking Co.

Although now that this has been revealed all it takes is a good gunsmith the right permits and a little time/money to have one made for you.

  • When they produce and sell these, and they will... I will buy it on DAY ONE!!! They say in the first video "this isn't something we are going to produce" and I believe that like I believe Barack Obama will be President on the United States of America! GO NRA!!!

  • Sadly to say that Richard will not be producing this weapon. It was a design concept introduced at SHOT show 08. I know the guys from Magpul and I was told it would not go into production. Hopefully they were not telling the truth tho!

  • D'oh!!!

    Ya, I want one too.

  • well, looks like he is the president.

but yeah, i want one of these

  • nope...

  • are they gonna produce these

  • I don't believe so, I heard that they just made that as a prototype to show the possibility and to show how good they are. But I'm not sure if they changed their mind.

  • kazakhstan land of(Borat) was the first to desighn that thing in looked like a small boombox and had an antena too (lol) this was in the 70s when kasakstan was part of the SSSR

Russia_Russian PP-90 was used by mountan bordergards . in the 80s Ares, Incorporated -USA developd the Ares FMG and now MAGPUL (actualy it wold be cool if it be caron composit and have a integrated black box supressor and look like a keyboard it pops out of a laptop and the laptop is the bletproof vest cool toy for 007

  • Tricky is it a laptop no its a fucking glock

  • i need one of these

  • perfect!!!!want one if i could have one

  • the perfect concealed weapon i will buy one if it will be released locally here in the phils.nice concept nice package if its a glock then its perfection plus il convert it to full auto bwahaha cant wait to have mine

  • im thinking backup sidearm

  • mine pops out of my shoe so you bastards better watch out il be gunning for the ankles!!!!

  • Mine pops out of my cell phone.

  • i got one but made it from a lunch box..

  • I could totally fit that in my purse..haha!

  • since it uses a glock reciever, if this ever is produced, expect it in different types of amunition

  • oohhhh...i want one! i could put it in my purse...right alongside my switchblade...hehe..how much do these run?

  • Does any one know if this is available in semiauto for civilians? I like it because it isn't readily identifiable as a weapon and in a metro area this is important on several counts.

  • It would have to be registered as a SBR or AOW I would think. A concealed pistol isn't readily identifiable ether :D

  • this isnt even being produced......it hasn't hit leagel limits so they have to tweek it before it goes to the military.....not to mention the public

  • better than the ares fmg

  • Sorry I have not called yet. I was too busy laughing when i saw your little clip with the moron from future weapons. "Hey, lets run around the desert and impress the boys on the ARFCOM boards". I couldn't help but notice that the owner was in the Marine Corps. It's hard not to when that's all you see on the webpage or read your comments. Beating that 9-11 post war we support the boys over there thing to death, don't you think ? Have fun watching somebody build your rifle for you. Later.

  • Actually this and the Russian PP-90 are just copies of Eugene Stoner's ARES FMG from 1986. (see Wikipedia for details)

  • I don't understand: is it a glock submachine gun? Or a glock modified by Magpul? Is it a real gun or air soft gun? Too many questions? LOL!

  • It's a compact sub-machine gun with a Glock 18 slide.

  • Actually a russian idea from start, they have a folding subgun that works the same way from the 80s. But Im sure that this one is a lot better!

  • I think the Russians copied it from the original Stoner/Ares design. After the Russians was the eight Boatman version that was used on Robocop2. This version is the first with a closed bolt/safe action, spring loaded opening and based upon a proven Glock action.

  • Wrong. The US Ares FMG was produced several years before the Soviet PP-90. Nice try though.

  • ho my god ....@.@

  • I got the president of this company to contact me after i bashed his product. I won my bet. The boys so soft skinned he cant take anyone talking bad about his magazine pull tabs and spring loaded Glock boxes. Yeah he created a rifle but has to have somebody big in the industry produce it for him. As far as the guy and his comment about being jealous, whatever. People like me dont design guns, we use them. And people like us dont use retarded gimmicks on our weapons. Go fetch.

  • More like a cutting edge company, who listens to all the feedback they get....

People like you probably don't even own guns.

  • Actually the President of the company (a former USMC Recon Marine) gave you his telephone number so you could vent to him directly seeing you have such strong feelings about these products. Your choice to stay anonymous speaks volumes.

  • That looks like something David Bowie from TDI would like. Its a sad state of affairs when a major player in the firearms industry would be connected with a comany that would have anything to do with a piece of crap like that.

  • Really? Magpul has fielded many products used in the millions by our troops overseas for many years now.

In the last year we have created a complete modular rifle system without gov funding and a polymer magazine that can outlast any gov sponsored plastic or aluminum mag out there.

The FMG9 is a concept based upon the old folding SMGs but is the first to be spring loaded, closed bolt and safe action. Certain segments of LE and the Military were very excited to see this product.

  • drh1045 why do people feel they can go on youtube and be a complete idiot? if you don't like it don't buy it.

  • You tell me. Jump. Roll over. Good boy !

  • Amazing.. Those of you who are so critical of this companies efforts.

Unless you have designed and or even copied a similar product, your opinion means nothing. So easy for you to dismiss the efforts of others. The only idiots here, are those who delight in trashing the efforts of anyone or any company. As if you have have contributed any thing that equals 1% of what Magpul has done. Jealously is an ugly dress that many of you here with the negative comments seem to delight in wearing.

  • wow... cant believe airsoft started off with plastic see through springers and advanced all the way to these prototypes. this is the new airsoft era and can be its prime.

  • That thing is fuckin pimp. So compact aye dangerous.

  • nice sweater homo :flipoff2:

  • It goes to show that you can take a perfectly fine pistol like a Glock and turn it into a useless piece of garbage. Magpul, you idiots never cease to amaze me. Oh yeah, those P-Mags are just so going to replace all metal magazines. NOT !!!!!!!!!

  • At the end of the video the guy asks if you could add a Glock 18 slide for full auto. The guy shakes his head which is correct because the slide rails on the Glock 18 differ to the slide rails on all the other Glocks.

As for the system itself it looks pretty bloody cool to me. Ultimate camping/hiking gun or just something to put in the trunk of the car for an emergency.

  • Wats wit all da h8erz. Dis thing is phat. N E wurd if they gonna make a airsoft version.

  • coming soon to a mall security force near you!

  • Yea Pirate.

    more Old tech from MagPul

  • That totally outweighs all the retardedly gay products they have produced.

  • what do you know? you probably don't even think colt makes the best ar. :flipoff2:

  • What about Rock River? :(

  • 2 questions:

Doesn't that need need registered as an SBR now?

What possible use could there be for a glock in "box" configuration?

  • cool

  • glock in a box :)

  • That guy didn't look very happy...

  • Welcome to the 1980's, Eugene Stoner wants his FMG back.

  • Magpul as a company is gayer than rectal warts on a crossdresser, but that's cool.

    Oh yeah, fuck arfcom.

  • I'll take two, one in black, one in desert camo, both 10mm.

  • HOLY SHIT THAT IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The depressing aspect is that Washington doesn't allow SBR's. :(

  • Way Cool.

  • It would be sweet in full auto...but we can't have that.

  • why not? theyre not making it? all it would need is the proper paperwork from the GOV.

    this thing is baller son!

    IBTK -kaboom! :)

  • Not unless they traveled back in time and made it before 1986. The only way to get new autos is if you're a manufacturer or dealer.

  • fair enough. I'm not up on my FA laws. Thanks for the info. My question is, what the fuck makes a dealer a 'dealer' if they can't sell a product... sounds faggy to me.

  • Sell to other SOT licensees, law enforcement, government agencies, the military, and foreign governments with required approvals.

  • thanks for the info. Still doesn't seem fair though :)

  • It has a semi-auto glock slide inside. All it would be is an SBR. They did leave room for the glock full-auto converters to be installed.

  • I'm stupid :( I thought they said it was a Glock 18 at some point.

  • I want one.
