  • Impressionant ! Je n'aurais jamais imaginé David Soul en chef d'orchestre, il continue à nous étonner, bravo David.

  • SWEET, SWEET, SWEET MAN!!!

  • Today it is the 28 th of August and I like to wish David Soul a HAPPY BIRTHDAY and lots of love from your fan Rosette from Malta. You re simply the best.

  • DEAR DAVID YOU'RE ALWAYS ON MY MIND

  • Conductors are eye-candy. If the musicians are passionate - it works. Do not forget Soul's hit song "Don't give up on us Baby." The lowly Brits loved that song more than the Americans. But, what do the Brits know? Not Much!

  • @badbobgrouch Brits have more talent and appreciationo f culture than an american will ever have.

  • Why does everyone say that it was for Platoon? I mean, yes, they did play it in the film, but, the Adagio was not composed for that. Barber composed it for someone and something else.

  • that was beautiful x

  • Oh, if I may add, he BUTCHERED a beautiful piece of music.

  • he was terrible. as an amateur musician myself, I couldn't follow his pattern most of the time and if you noticed in the beginning his hands and the orchestra were TOTALLY UNMATCHED. I'm glad he got voted off. The judges were too nice. I would've given him a 2 or 3. Americans SIMPLY HAVE NO APPRECIATION OF CULTURE (this coming from an Asian living in the U.S.). So, NEVER have an American on British shows. They just destroy it.

  • I wouldn't go as far as to say that Americans have no appreciation of culture. True most Americans don't but I don't blame this man too much. I'm a violinist and I've seen my conductors struggle to conduct me because it is a really slow piece. It's the kind of piece that can't be conducted, you need to feel it. It's as much the musicians' fault as the conductors'. One last thing, I am also an Asian kid, born and raised here in America. You're, no offense, an amateur. Try to do it, I have.

  • Brings tears to my eyes, especially knowing how much it meant to him.

  • Anyway, he did a great job!

  • no, he was bloody awful. and knowing that he IS a musician, which should've given him some advantage over the other contestants.

  • Not true. Bruce Springsteen is an awesome musician. That does not guarantee, he could do this as well. Its as good as asking Michael Jackson doing a Travolta dance or otherwise. Music has many faces and styles; one man's soup could be another man's fly.

  • I'm so sad that David is out of the show. He didn't deserve to get such low marks. IMO Jane Asher should have been at the bottom with Bradley Walsh. It was a difficult piece too that David had to conduct.

OMG!! How good did he look?

It's criminal that he got kicked out!!

    Sarah

  • Isn't it criminal to allow an American on British TV?

  • He's a British citizen now.

  • Sorry, please excuse me for being rude. I will take back the acerbic comments I made. The last thing I want to do is to offend Great Britain.

  • david was great in this episode.

    he had a difficult piece.

for me is david the maestro.

    thanks for sharing.

    didi

  • Es una lástima pero ni modo....

    Bravo por Natalia...

  • Oh it's not fair and David looked so gorgeous on this episode too! He certainly was not the worse. jane Asher was aweful and Bradley Walsh has done nothing but muck around since he began. I was getting used to my Tuesday Night with David too LOL
