I'm so sorry for your lost. I also have a son that is born in the year 2003. He is 6 1/2 yrs old now. Your baby reminds me a lot when my boys were babies. I am also married to a wonderful black man. Elijah passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in his sleep. SUDC (Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood). A label given to babies who die from sudden death after the age of 1 year.

I went to a backyard BBQ a few years ago and there was 8 women there and out of us 8 women 3 of us unknowingly experienced SIDS?How bazaar The only thing that helped ease the pain was SIDS meetings as ladies there experienced the same HURT UNEXPLAINABLE feelings It also split up my marriage as we dealt with it differently. But today we are back together with another 16 year old son we created. But it was TOUGH...I will NEVER EVER FORGET MY SON OR THE EXPERIENCE but have to carry on to survive

The pain is unbearable and cope is what I must do to carry on. A piece of my heart is resting with him. It is my son's to keep, until we meet again. Please forgive those ones who say the wrong things as they mean well. I could not believe the then stupid things people would say to me. ie...Oh at least you have another son? or at least he was only 1 month old? or I CAN IMAGINE...No in my head know one could imagine only the Mother who experienced it could imagine.

However my sons birthday coming up Nov 21st is a HAPPY day for me, just like the day he was born. I was EXSTATIC. Never so happy in all my life. I think of my son EVERYDAY.Every year I think of what he would be doing at 1,2,3, etc

This is so sad. I am very sorry about what happened. A friend of mine in my church also lost her baby boy because of SUDC(Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood. Her baby died at 6 months. T'ill this day she is still crying over him. But she knows hes in a better place. GOD BLESS Elijah. OXOXOXOX

I lost my lovely daughter Laila one month ago while her adoption was pending.I was the first one to touch her tiny hand when she was born 4/5/07.I had her for 6 months when her birth mother took her back.I did not know how to go on with my life, because my life was with her. It's been a month she has been gone.Thankyou for making me realize I should be grateful for the time I had with her and know she is safe with her birth family.Laila looks so much like you beautiful son.God Bless
