I'm a huge Autechre fan (a uk's idm duo on warp rec.) I want to recreate this song "PULE" (its on "Chiastic Slide" album). The song is based on just a synth sound that I can't recreate from almost a year now... Can u PLEASE help me? thank you so much. regards from Italy.Giulio.

@TheXlr8ion Yeah, you just start Live and then Reason afterwards. Then you can rewire Reason into Live by using Live's "External Instrument". Select Reason, and in Midi To the combinator you want to send the midi notes to. Then choose the right channel where the combinator's sound is coming from (TAB in Reason to control those wires).

My sound engineering boffin friend tells me to rewire all my sounds on reason to Cubase sx3, cos the mixer on Reason is shit (quality wise) He also says the sequencer is better on Cubase.

Personally i like loading up just the 1 program.

reason has released a program to make your own refills, selling patches on reason does not break the license agreement, selling the actual program would.

no no. you're getting it twisted.

i meant modding the actual programme. my initial comment was regarding the skin you had on your combinator. i didn't realize this was standard practice now.

read your liscence agreement. modifying reason (the programme itself) IS against the TOS.

you have a liscence to use the software. you don't actually own it and therefore you can't open it and edit the source code (which is what i thought you had done with the combi skin).

dude i switched over from fl studio and picked reason up in 2 months, and im completely satisfed with it.....its easy to use once you get it......and its MUCH BETTER than FL Studio, not a little bit better
