• I want to write the trailer

THEY SAID IT COULDN'T BE DONE ! THEY SAID YOU COULDN'T MAKE A BORING MOVIE ABOUT EDIE SEDGWICK!

Sienna - too old

• Comment removed

• @MrsHollyScissorhands she never got pregnant from Bob Dylan she had an abrotion after getting pregnant with a man from silver hill

• this just blows me away for some reason

• give me a break warhol is supposed to be doing an interview on film with questions like, "you come from california, right?"

laughable and can't get past 23 seconds

• I think Sienna Miller is a better Edie Sedgwick than the real one.

• fantastic

• aw it's missing the best part, where andy asks edie who was the first boy she kissed and she answers "fuzzy" thus making aware the suspicion that she was sexually abused by her father. :(

it was one of the main parts of the entire scene, that and discovering that her best friend, who was also her brother was dead.

• underrated performance i think she got no recognition cos america thinks she's a homewrecker.

• I think Carey Mulligan would have been a better casting option. She would have been too young at the time though!

• I, too, was disappointed by this film. However, maybe we should all count our blessing that the first planned Hollywood Edie Sedgwick biopic never came out--It was gonna star MOLLY RINGWALD as La Sedgwick!!!

• @LeshaAnn euw molly ringwald as eide??? >.<

yes let's count that blessing!

• Please change the title of this youtube clip to "Not Edie Sedgwick."

• This movie was absolute bullshit. Nothing, I mean nothing is at all right in any part of this film. They touched dimly on her family life, which was a great impact on who she was as a person. They never once mentioned Bobby Neuwirth, the love of Edie's life, and they never once talked about her abortion with Bob Dylan's child. Sienna Miller is cute, but she is NOT nor will she EVER be Edie Sedgwick. Edie was intelligent and broken, not a whore as she is presumed in this film. Absolutely terrible

• @MrsHollyScissorhands I DON'T THINK YOU UNDERSTAND, I LOVE YOU FOR THIS COMMENT.

I.

LOVE.

YOU.

• @seedieedgwick Just speaking the truth, darling. ; )

• @MrsHollyScissorhands I whole-heartedly agree. As a long-time fan, I also had major issues with the way Andy was portrayed in this film. All that rubbish with him talking about Mick Jagger's cock and talking in a sexually suggestive way to the French interviewer, Andy would never talk in such a lude way to anybody. He was shy and self-conscious, and incredibly anti-social/self-aware. That guy made Andy seem like a cocky and confident asshole, which is all wrong. Terrible representation.

• @damnhippie16

Absolutely agreed! Andy's portrayal was absolutely bogus. They failed to mention anything about Edie's battling addiction for the ending years of her life, and they almost made it seem like she was thriving to better herself. Absolutely ridiculous.

• @damnhippie16

read some books and you'll find out he always tried to photograph peoples' cocks, asking anybody straight up first thing, a little ritual. but what I was able to see in the first 23 seconds here, unwilling to watch more, is like a public access interview Skip E Lowe, perhaps "I heard you're from california is that true?"

• Sienna was so great at the mannerisms, the way she moves her lips when she says things and how she moved. But Edie's look was so much softer, she had rounder features and was more enchanting. She spoke slower too, and her laughs were much more spontaneous and fleeting.

• @undecidedlyamy agreed

• She is nice, but not at all like the real Edie.

• Come on... she doesn't sound like Edie at all!

• This is Sienna Miller, acting in the movie Factory Girl. Very nice movie, but not Edie Sedgwick! :)

• it's like watching a poorly thought out youtube video of a fan trying to act like edie.

• @circethesorceress so true.

• I think Sienna could have done better if she'd been given more time to get the character down. She has picked up a lot of Edie's more superficial tics in this (soft voice, licking lips, a kind of stuttering, looking away and smiling, etc.) but Edie has a lot too her, which is why people are so entranced by her. She was more aloof--disconnected, there was a kind of pain behind her smiles when she'd look away, and she seemed young. I think Sienna's a bit older so it's to be expected.

• @160p2GHz That's so to the point! I would like to add that Edie was a lot more subtle and complex. She was multi-talented and gorgeous.

• sienna is pretty, doesn't have the same kind of enchanting beauty that edie had. seemed too calm or not dynamic enough to play edie.

• Why would you make such lame version of this decade and these people?

Vietnam, The Doors and Studio 54 been already shoot.

Now this Sienna Miller and who the f Andy have no idea who they are playing. And it shows.

• @Tiiluu Sienna and Guy Pierce did tonnes of research for the role, the awful portrayals have more to do with the script than anything. It's hard to sound in-depth or accurate when you're given painfully corny lines to read.

• She was good... But the movie is not true. The Bob Dylan thing, who's "not Bob Dylan, no, he's a musician"... Please... Also, I was wondering did Andy really met Edie's father, 'cause I heard that Fuzzy really liked Andy, but in Factory Girl, when the two meet, the situation was really... Gross.

• @ChrissieBana Fuzzy did meet Andy, and he remarked afterward (not to Andy) "Why he's a screaming faggot", out of relief and not malice as displayed in the film, because he was initially worried that Edie was involved with him sexually.

• i think sienna miller look prettier playing edie in this movie then edie

• I like her acting. At first, I thought that's Edie herself!

• This isn't close to Edie's life. But I still love it as a movie, it's one of my favorites, whether it's accurate or not.

• I don't think Sienna is anything like Edie, she moves & speaks so fast, & Edie was very much the opposite.

• what a disgrace to the legend of Edie Sedwick.

• The movie and Sienna are awful !!!!. Sienna just bounced around, spastic, & out-of-control. Edie took a ridiculous amount of downers with the speed, she moved and spoke slowly.......she had poise. Warhol didn't drive her crazy & she didn't become a prostitute for drugs. It's a fictionalized account, but people think it's true, Edie's poise, COURAGE, & grace in the face of tremendous adversity is what makes her so special to me, & this movie ruins everything good about her & her life!

• absolutely perfect movie, Sienna suprised me!....

• This is a scene of Factory Girl. So this isn't the real Edie Sedgwick, it's Sienna Miller. :')

• don't you think that's a little...over excessive lol

• That is NOT Edie Sedgwick.

• @Dealit707 its sienna miller

• @Dealit707 yeah.. we know that

• @Dealit707 yeah.. we know that and thats not Andy Warhol either

• This movie is probably Sienna's best movie. I mean, she's good in The Edge of Love, and others, but this is my favorite. She just does an outstanding job. I fucking love Sienna.

• Amazing Movie.

• she looks a bit like effy from skins..

• isn't it a part of the factory girl?

• Not only is this NOT Edie, but the movie Factory Girl is based on FICTION, which means it was made up, so stop trying to judge who Edie was and what happened to her by a stupid, made up movie that doesn't even claim to be based on her life! If you are interested in Edie read " Girl on Fire" , "Edie:An American Biography", or if you are too lazy to read watch

"Ciao! Manhattan" at least, Sienna looks and acts NOTHING like Edie, & people stop judging her on a made up movie that is BULL****!

• omg clearly u goose its sienna miller

ur dumb

• Why are you telling me this Sienna Miller when I clearly stated it wasn't Edie? Must have been a mistake

• @jarileigh i agree, they took little bits of the truth, but if you reaslly want to find out about edie read the books.. i couldn't put them down!! i actually thought Sienna did well for what she had, she did edie's voice well, but yes, the books are where it's at.

• Redbirdgirl, I think the problem I have with Sienna is that I have watched all the footage of Edie & read all the books before seeing Factory Girl, & although I love Sienna as a actress, I'm not buying in the movie, I blame the writers, No one who knew Edie would have anything to do with the film, Dylan wanted to sue, and Lou Reed said the script was crap & some people would do anything to make money..."They're all a bunch of bastards" I agree

• @Redbirdgirl88 For me, she talks way too fast to sound like Edie. And Edie's facial expressions were very slow & deliberate, Sienna appears spastic in comparison to me, just a lot of energy all over the place. Have you ever seen Ciao! Manhattan?

• @jarileigh ya, i agree..i 've seen parts of ciao manhattan, they used to have most of it on here but i guess due to copyrights it's no longer here. i wonder if it's available anywhere?

• @Redbirdgirl88 Sure, you can order it on Amazon. I was just reading one of the books on her, and I realized not only does the movie skip everything before the Factory, but everything after the Factory as well, and that is the relevant part of her life. Fuzzy died, and she went downhill after that, back to the "binns" she called them, burned the Warwick, her Mother got her out of a mental hospital & brought her back to Santa Barbara, Late Fall 1968, in and out of Cottage Hosp

• @Redbirdgirl88 can you recommend a book to me.

• @meohmy320 sure, there's "Girl On Fire" which is a biography with tons of pictures and is supposed to be the best.I have yet to pick that one up. I have "Edie , An american biography" i found that in a used bookstore. Good luck!

• @Redbirdgirl88 Thankyou :) Ill be sure to look out for those when I next go into a book store.

• THAT AINT EDIE FOOL!

Just kidding. xD

• Please be more specific in the description. This is a clip from Factory Girl. Where Sienna Miller plays Edie.

• I agree but its only a wasted click.

• great movie

• My God, she nailed this role.

It was an AMAZING movie, Edie Sedgwick is my biggest idol.

Great props to Sienna Miller.

• Personally I do not like Sienna's media portrayl (which I understand may or may not be accurate) though I believe she deserves acclaim for this role which she has not acheived in my opinion...

• I couldn't say it better

• it's seinna miller, in the role of edie sedgwick.

she does an amazing job with facial expression and voice, and also very similar facial structure and body.

• i know i was shocked at the similarity when i saw the movie!!!

• sienna and guy, both amazing in this movie!! great acting!!

• i agree sienna miller was wow! in the movie "Factory Girl" she played the role so good that she made me cry over and over and over again or maybe it was just the impact that edie gave me.... :)
• i think Sienna Miller should have got like an Oscar or something for her part in this. she was amazing

• @da1andonlycodfish Absolutely. Sienna had Edie's voice right to the tea. I was so surprised. That is very hard to do. I am surprised that people are giving this movie and the actors negative reviews. From the real Edie and Andy videos, everyone did an excellent job. Bravo! :)

• this is not edie.

• gosh she nailed her part

• Sienna totally did this role right.

she gets Edie's expressions and voice

almost exactly alike.

kudos*

• she played the role right, but the movie was a mess and an inaccurate depiction of andy warhol and bob dylan's role in her life.

• sienna miller does a greattt job as edie!!! i was amazed!!

• thats sienna miller in factory girl.. ??

• Yes, and she did a great job

• Can anybody get this whole clip?

• isnt this sienna miller ?

• yeeeesss

the beautiful sienna

• Guy Pearce did awesome in this movie just perfect!!

• The Warhol scene in 'The Doors' is terrible, but there's one good line. Warhol tells Morrison to talk to God with this telephone that Edie gave him. "I don't have anything to say," says Warhol. Think about what the line says about her.

• I don't get it lol

• Guy Pearce was awesome as Andy Warhol and Sienna Miller did a good job being Edie Sedgwick and factory girl was pretty decent movie

• I agree. Guy Peirce was absolutly perfect! But I honestly don't think anyone could portray Edie right. She was just so unique and elegant.

• Actually, I find that Sienna hit home more than anyone could. She's way too beautiful, I actually find her version of Edie more beautiful.

You couldn't have said it any better about Guy Pearce. Best Warhol adaptation. Have you seen the "Warhol" in the film The Doors? Terrible.

• I want this whole interview scene! I love it.

• Esse começo do filme é simplesmente tudoo, adorei o modo como sienna personificou Edie ;)

• It could be better but i think it´s a good job. Sienna imitates Edie and her voice very well also Guy Pierce is great. And the music site of this film is amazing

• I have a love hate relationship with this movie. I love it because I love Edie, but the film could have been a lot lot better. I was dissapointed yet still went and bought it on DVD. I agree with the comment saying the director should be shot, but the comment saying no other actress could have done it better? Sienna, whilst not awful, was hardly brilliant. She didn't capture the true Edie at all, at least not in my opinion. Watch videos of the real Sedgwick & you'll see what I mean.

• I mean the comment saying the director should have been arrested, not shot. Meh, either way...

• THIS MOVIE WAS A STEAMING PILE OF CRAP. It actually really tragic, because it could of been brilliant. Sienna was fine, but the director should be arrested.

• It was totally based on what really happened. so if you found it full of cliches it doesn't really matter because most of that stuff did actually happen to edie.

• In my humble opinion this movie was so predictable and rife with the typical clichés. I saw factory girl in sneak preview and I wished I wouldn't have spent 3,50€ on it ^^

• Was this a scene with passages, that had been cut out from the cinematic version?

• guy pearce doesn't really have awful skin; he's meant to in this cause Andy Warhol had a nervous condition which bought him out in blothes. Guy pearce is quite nice looking.

• vbcm

• The next it girl?

• Guy Pearce.

• Gods, who the hell is that playing Andy? Why do they always have the most abysmal people playing Andy?

• i liked the movie, is not that bad,

people is very critical.

• Every one has their own majic.. You just have to tap into it!

• I think they did a good job having Sienna.I like Natalie, but no way for this movie.

• i think natalie portman would have been better, i love this movie, but it wasn't like edie life much, it could have been a lot better. =) they should make another one

• Yeah, Sienna is pretty, but she doesn't have a unique-ly beautiful look like Edith does :)

• i think sienna did a great job and no other actress could have done it better

• this is cool. thanks ♥

• i think sienna did an amazing job on edie

edie is my idol

• Sienna Miller sounds like Drew Barrymore in this clip. Nothing against Sienna, but she doesn't come close to Edie's beauty. Edie had one of the most beautiful faces.

• hey thx for posting♥
