@amwoodard777 What I would say to you is that there is more to salvation than you have been taught. Are you one of those Christians who walks up the the starting line and declares victory? What is this race we run? I know everything about what Arnold Murray teaches. I was at the passover in 1995 when Arnold said we were in the fifth trump. Dr. Murray's Jesus is a false Christ, and the fact that you don't recognize that means you are already in trouble. Give my study a listen...

That cassette you mentioned was made in the eighties, Arnold Murray says he saw the man in the clouds and the roman numerals changing from one seal to the other. But since that time he has moved on in his false prophecy we are supposedly in the sixth trump not to hear some tell it. But the truth is that the end times have not yet come. Not one trumpet has sounded.

@amwoodard777 The fig tree "generation" It would not be the first time Arnold Murray was wrong. The fig tree may have nothing to do with Israel becoming a nation. "These things" may not refer to "the fig tree" but to the events described by Christ in Mark 13 previously. If the current generation passes, they will have done much damage and more with their false prophesying. I have said it before, Arnold Murray will be dead before the end times begin, he will never see those days.

Pastor murray teaches who Christ is and what he teaches & it is most important to know who anti christ is because he is coming as the fase Jesus. @amwoodard777 Well, I left the church I mentioned on my website in 2008, but I'm still part of the cult of Jesus Christ, so when I say cult, I'm basically saying that I really don't care about labels like "cult." The word has come to taken exclusively in a pejorative sense, but to me it refers to the practices and doctrines of my religion, which I believe come directly from Jesus Christ and his Apostles. Arnold Murray is a cult of personality, watch what happens when he dies.

If you resist temptation now, how will you resist it in the face of all his power? Judas sold out Christ for silver, but how many of us would sell him out for a cigarette, or a woman's touch? @amwoodard777 Knowing who Anti-Christ is, is not as important as knowing who Christ is. People seem to think that if they know who anti-Christ is ahead of time it will save them from him. But that knowledge pales in comparison to the knowledge of Christ which leads us to salvation. If I wanted to be like Pastor Murray I wouldn't tell people that he is a false teacher, because he refuses to name the enemies of God. Of course I think God has chosen me. Do you believe God has rejected you?

@Noffy1111 No, I'm not a Calvinist, but I obviously agree with Calvinists on some things. Christ died for his elect, whether they be Pharisees or false teachers does not really determine anything, you cannot judge a man based on his current station in life. The unrepentant and remorseless, who do not ever see themselves as sinners in need of redemption would be the furthest from the blood atonement. "The whole do not need a physician." Christ is consistent in rejecting such.

@Noffy1111 In principle Christ's blood was sufficient to pay for all sin. But in practice his sacrifice only brings redemption to his elect. So though His blood would cover their sins, it does not in fact. Christ paid the price for all sin but not all sinners are redeemed by it. Where there is no redemption there is no real purchase. If you pay for something but do not claim the merchandise, the transaction is incomplete. So the sacrifice of Christ is only effectual for his chosen.

The transaction is complete but it is REJECTED. To say that the transaction is calling Christ insufficient.

@Noffy1111 2peter2:1 This is stated from man's perspective, since no man can discern election absolutely. When someone becomes part of the church and professes faith, the faithful accept this person and they receive the doctrines which instruct the believer. So when it says they "deny the Lord that bought them" we are understanding things from the human perspective. For if the Lord had truly bought them, if they would deny the Lord (as Peter did) they would then be forgiven and not destroyed

@Noffy1111 If you camp out on one verse you may make all kinds of presumptions and claims. But you are not taking the whole of the teachings into account. Predestination and election are clear doctrines taught in scripture, I find them to be so compelling and clear that I make all verses that seem to say something contrary SUBJECT to them. So if 2 Peter2:1 SEEMS to contradict the doctrine of election, then it must be interpreted, because the scriptures which teach election are VERY CLEAR.

You are saying that God choses us because he foreknows we will choose him. That is wrong. You are making the election man's doing, when the one who does the choosing is God, based on nothing except his mercy. @Noffy1111 So it is by God' foreknowledge of his own will, not of man's will that we are predestinated. There is a scripture that makes it very clear on what basis we are elected:

Eph1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

ACCORDING TO HIS WILL not man's.

Anyway, is there really any reason for us to continue this? I'm here to teach the bible. I've already debated this endlessly with others.

If God created evil then why is it that sin was FOUND in satan and not Placed in satan?

Proverbs 16:4 The Lord hath made all things for himself, yea, even the wicked for the day of evil." I also cited numerous scriptures in my study which you have conveniently ignored. Iniquity being found in Satan does not mean that it never existed prior to its discovery, that is ridiculous, the manifestation of iniquity in Satan was possible because he was created with evil hidden in him.

@Noffy1111 Additionally, Even if I was to assent to the mistaken notion that Foreknowledge has to to with God knowing what OUR WILL will be. Even so, God is still ultimately behind it because we are his products and the world is his creation.

Prov 16:33 The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the LORD.

Think about that verse. Is there anything random in this world to God? IF he is the first CAUSE of the universe then he is the first cause of everything in it.

@Noffy1111 I would amend my remarks from the other day. On further reflection, the idea that there is a stratified "nearest to farthest" from redemption, is only meaningful from a human perspective. From God's perspective men are either elected or excluded from salvation. Paul, for example would have seemed "far" from salvation, but God's perspective was that Paul was "included." Judas may have seemed "near" but he was actually "excluded."
