well theres a diffrence from a sport and a spectator sport pro football is in the latter of those. pro teams are a franchise, meaning the were made with the intent of making money so the owners of these teams buy them for money their team does well that means more tickets sold and more merchandise is sold so on that part its a business no body wants to make someone money and not get a peice to so yeah they are paid alot but even then most money for players come from indorsements
