  • notice the pinky and ring fingers of both their fretting hands. mark was not trained properly. resting your fingertips on the body is frowned upon when classic finger picking (at least, what i learned from my teacher years ago...made me a better player.)

  • @hookups Thanks for visiting my site and for your comment. Yours is an interesting observation. Somehow Mark makes it work.

  • @janhammer39 mark for sure makes it work. sorry if that seemed like a slam against his playing; it wasnt. we all know how talented he is.

  • @hookups No offense taken. I thought you made an astute observation.

  • merveilleux, merci pour le partage.

  • @soucoline53 merci

  • Two superb guitarists playing acoustic guitars to one of Lennons greatest hits. Absolutly beautiful!

  • @orionrodi Thanks for visiting and for your comment.

  • @janhammer39 It does not get much better than this! I have been a fan of Dire Straits, and Mark Knopfler since 1978. I was 15, when i heard DS for the first time, now I´m turning 49, and I still love all the albums from DS, and MK´s solo albums, and of course "Neck and Neck" with Mark Knopfler and Chet Atkins.
