Can anyone answer a question I have. If you bring back Tidus with 100% completion do you see the cutscene where Tidus appears back in Besaid and THEN this ending? Or do you just get this ending?

Lol Dimbark, Tidus can't drown. It's impossible. As implied in X, all blitzball players and for some reason Rikku can breath under water. I liked X-2 but I hated how pathetically short the 100% storyline is. In most final fantasy games it's dreadfully easy to log in well over a hundred hours per file for a completely complete game. Hell, for XII I'm at 140+ hours and still got alot to go. For X-2 it only takes 60, maybe 80 at MAX if you train for excruciatingly and unnecessarily long times.
SquareSoft why did you merge with enix. Still love the games but its a strait shot most of the game no exploring anything till its almost over. No hidden caves and veryfew unlockables
you know, i have to say, i may be one of the few people who actually like the story line better sans X-2... to me it more more as a tragedy. the nature of Tidus' character was one born of sacrifice. yeah its great they got to be together in the end, but the whole thing just meant more to me the way it left off with the first game. that was the first FF ending i have been in love with since FFVIII. just my opinion.
it is a beautiful ending that brings back old memories, old friends together and it also shows the love between two people that will always last forever.

@AkiraSeikatsu The Perfect ending nets you the Normal ending CGI, and then AFTER the credits, the Good ending/Tidus returns CGI plays, followed by this sequence.

i've played every final fantasy game that has come out since the old nes 8-bit back when i was 11 - 12; and have enjoyed (more or less) every one of them in their own ways. some obviously better then others - but this one, while an oddball ff game - was the oen to draw the most emotion from me. Pretty much every final fantasy has an "underlying message". Pretty much all of them are bad. Not the games the messages they try and convey. @MrBubbleBox no exception. Some of it comes down to personal taste, but it really was a pretty good game and I think it's misguided to stereotype YRP like that. And even if you decide to, Square Enix isn't all to blame. A lot of it was the media at the time, that's when the "Sex Symbolism in Pop Culture" revolution had already undertaken. So, indirectly, if you think it's bad, it's all of our faults, in a sense. Either way, it's one of the best series out there, so go complain about a truly awf
@MrBubbleBox, to be honest you're kind of right(XII AND Rev Wings were awful, and the rest were only okay besides X and X-2, which I thought were amazing) but you can turn around and say the exact opposite what you said about YRP. I think they put Paine in to give a bit of background on the Crimson Squad and how all of the leaders come togther, Rikku represents freedom and is kinda there to cheer everyone up, and Yuna is trying to tie up loose ends. @Pyromania37 Auron didn't deserve to be revived. He was dead. Titus was never born, so technically he could of been dead. Reviving the dead is much harder than reviving a dream. Being dead and not being sent though, is how Auron was alive. He was sent and guided to the Farplane. You should of payed attention more to the first game.
@Pyromania37 yeah but Auron wasent a dream that became a reality and honestly on my ff10 save my Tidus does 9999 damage no critical with his base stats (no stat boosts from weapons) without being equipped with his caladbolg/ultima weapon (thats its japanese name) and my Auron doesnt hit that high and i used Auron when ever i can and i have never taken Tidus out of the party and i havent finished the sphere grid on Tidus either ive finished about 3 or 4 sections on Tidus

@AkiraSeikatsu The Perfect ending nets you the Normal ending CGI, and then AFTER the credits, the Good ending/Tidus returns CGI plays, followed by this sequence.

I prefer the Good Ending. This one isn't as emotional or endearing somehow. Makes getting to 100% seem less worth it. :\

i've played every final fantasy game that has come out since the old nes 8-bit back when i was 11 - 12; and have enjoyed (more or less) every one of them in their own ways. some obviously better then others - but this one, while an oddball ff game - was the oen to draw the most emotion from me. Maybe its not a great game, but the characters are endearing - and you feel yunas sorrow, if you're someone that knows how to empathize~

Final......Fantasy.......X-2 And Final........Fantasy......X Lacks anything to make it a interesting game sure the graphics are the normal quality for Final Fantasy games But even Crystal Chronicles Crystal Bearers Made more sense then this. (YES I PLAYED THAT GAME 20 hours ill never get back)

Yes i did just watch His review of FFx2 and now that i reread my post it's pretty much summed up word for word what he said that was a accident .
Yes i did play a bit of 8 and a bit of three eight glitched on me when i borrowed it at the t rex in the garden i don't know why but the mindless grinding didn't bother me at all.
And i was so pissed at 3 i threw it away after a minute of play.

Pretty much every final fantasy has an "underlying message". Pretty much all of them are bad. Not the games the messages they try and convey. If you gonna try and act cool and say you know what they are and others are stupid for not getting them then go for it. The so called best one FF7 had an almost laughable storyline. Was it still good, yes. FFX had seymour. He came back three times, and all those times he was so linear I enjoyed killing him far more than I should've. Overall the FF is aight

What about FFVII AC, most of scenes were all about fighting and talking silly, but the main focus was the fight? So I SAID THAT FFVII IS THE WORST FF EVER, DO YOU AGREE? Of course you'd freak out to read this, but that's how I felt when I read your comments about FFX-2 rubbish. Just bcuz you are not into this game, or not trying to understand the deepest meanings of its, that doesn't mean you can claim that this game is trash, or bad just like me did not try to play FFVII to the fullest

lol i got my dick aching reading the retarding comments about FFX/FFX-2 crappy or the worst FF in the series ever and insisting that FFVII is the best. FFX and FFX-2 is the first FF game I've ever played and I never played FFVII. but i did read its storyline, watch some videoclips and FFVII AC , and I TOTALLY DIDN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT ITS MESSAGE IS EITHER THE STORYLINE. @MrBubbleBox no exception. Some of it comes down to personal taste, but it really was a pretty good game and I think it's misguided to stereotype YRP like that. And even if you decide to, Square Enix isn't all to blame. A lot of it was the media at the time, that's when the "Sex Symbolism in Pop Culture" revolution had already undertaken. So, indirectly, if you think it's bad, it's all of our faults, in a sense. Either way, it's one of the best series out there, so go complain about a truly awf

@MrBubbleBox, to be honest you're kind of right(XII AND Rev Wings were awful, and the rest were only okay besides X and X-2, which I thought were amazing) but you can turn around and say the exact opposite what you said about YRP. I think they put Paine in to give a bit of background on the Crimson Squad and how all of the leaders come togther, Rikku represents freedom and is kinda there to cheer everyone up, and Yuna is trying to tie up loose ends. All FF games have a message, and this one is

@Pyromania37 Auron didn't deserve to be revived. He was dead. Titus was never born, so technically he could of been dead. Reviving the dead is much harder than reviving a dream. Being dead and not being sent though, is how Auron was alive. He was sent and guided to the Farplane. You should of payed attention more to the first game.

@Pyromania37 yeah but Auron wasent a dream that became a reality and honestly on my ff10 save my Tidus does 9999 damage no critical with his base stats (no stat boosts from weapons) without being equipped with his caladbolg/ultima weapon (thats its japanese name) and my Auron doesnt hit that high and i used Auron when ever i can and i have never taken Tidus out of the party and i havent finished the sphere grid on Tidus either ive finished about 3 or 4 sections on Tidus

And though this ending was nice it hit me.
Tidus didn't know why he came back, meaning the game never told us... meaning Square has no idea.
I don't mean to be offensive they never gave us an answer, that just sounds like lazy writing.

Hate me all you want all final fantasy games after seven sucked (though one of the upcoming ones looks good) Final fantasy X was Total bull crap and X-2 Was fan service AKA lets put Yuna the shy conservative girl into a barely there dress (dresses with the garment grid crap) lets make Rikku the underage jail bait And they needed a emo brooding girl to fill the 3rd spot so they made Paine oh and to top it all off we have to go and revive Tidus yeah that's real incentive for you.
