master is good album but Killing is way more brutal. Its faster and heavier than any metallica's album (MoP included) and you can't argue with that.

If you don't like the album and thinks that master is better, well...it's your opinion. But mine is: Killing is my business is the best thrash album ever and my favorite of all.
@antoniorodrigues27 The main issue I have with this album is that they play so fuckin fast I can't hear the sound of the damn guitar. Seeing as how that's my favorite part of a heavy metal song, I think it ruins the song when all they want to do is show off how fast they can play. They had rather poor equipment and it didn't come out the way it should have. And I agree with you on the fact that I like Metallica's early guitar sound as opposed to Megadeth's. Metallica's was louder and more pronounced, while Megadeth's was a little more dirty and hard to make out at times.

@mkaspecter Nothing wrong with that. I frankly think that there are a lot of aspects of both bands that I like and dislike. I like Megadeth's creativity and technicality, but they do get wrapped up in it some times. I like Metallica's melody and raw sound that they had on their first few records, but their consistency leaves something to be desired. I feel it's very hard for me to decide between the two, but for consistency's sake, I'd say I prefer Megadeth, but just barely.
The recording quality isn't very good that is true. But in my opinion this raw sound gives it's charm. and I can hear the guitar just fine. I have no problem in identifying the instruments (maybe the bass is a exception sometimes).
Don't take me badly, but maybe you should train your ears a bit more. Cause if you like guitar, this album is for you. Believe me. There's a lot more in Killing is my business than just speed.

Dave Mustaine, although I respect him and his music, has been known to over-exaggerate everything and thinks he created all of metal by himself and is full of himself. He has a huge ego. Being a huge fan of all of them, we all should know this.

Kirk Hammett didn't really have a choice. He walked into an already established band that was a day from recording their first album. He had to copy all of Mustaine's solo cues and basic progressions. However, if you hear the NLTL demo, the solos are different, though there ARE similarities, obviously.

Ya have to admit that Killing was hastily put out.Dave was Hell Bent on REVENGE! first day i met him i asked what he thought of metallica's new album-he said "what?,ride the lightbulb?" he is contrary to idiot opinions a really cool guy.Yet does not suffer fools easily.One time he picked up an acoustic, and said-just riff sparingly over this-(he plays this great progression) it was the beginnings of Good Mourning/Black Friday.Great man,good friend, but troubled-heh, i know pain,the insanity.

Only 4 out of the 10 songs in Kill Em All had to do with Mustaine, Anthrax was in New York and were doing their own thing during their time, Slayer's first album was written in 83 before Kerry King was inspired by Mustaine. Dave Mustaine, although I respect him and his music, has been known to over-exaggerate everything and thinks he created all of metal by himself and is full of himself. He has a huge ego. Being a huge fan of all of them, we all should know this.

@SlayTallicaDethrax he also wrote the song ride the lightning ;) even if slayers first album was done before king played with mustaine, he still could have influenced him. Mustaine has arguably had a major influence on 3 of the big four. Remember that when Kirk came into metallica all he did was copy Mustaines playing style note for note

You got me on the Kerry King part, he could've influenced him, you're right, but the Hammett thing....
Kirk Hammett didn't really have a choice. He walked into an already established band that was a day from recording their first album. He had to copy all of Mustaine's solo cues and basic progressions. However, if you hear the NLTL demo, the solos are different, though there ARE similarities, obviously.

I know they are not in downtown hamilton, ive looked, most the stores and pawnshops barely even have any of the Remastered albums. Everyone should send Dave a message saying to re release the originals, i bet everyone would get them

@Icepick666 yes i agree, i can find "some" good in a few of the remastered albums. but there is always that feeling that it isnt good enough because its not what it used to sound like. i dont agree with re recording vocal tracks on my favourite album RIP, and how different the first five remastered albums sound compared to the originals. Original megadeth albums are amazing, they should have been left alone.
