Oh okay, so it's not just me, the charger really is defective and a waste of my money. The only solution is to be a tech blogger so they send you a new one for free :P

Thanks for the advise on how to connect to correct negative/positive as it is not clear on charger. Ive had device for a while and never knew correct way to charge. Thanks alot very helpful.

heya. after i connected the battery(correctly) the red light is on solid and the green light flashes. could you please advise. i cant find it within the manual or anything about it online. i really need to charge my batteries!

@raniee25 The Red light shows that the chrger is conneted to the power. The otherlight flashes green indicating that the battery is charging and changes to solid red when charge is finished
