Its as if they were trying to get them out as fast as possible and skimped on QC. Get him if you have the $ or wait for the NA version.

@JohnOpencho Hasbro will be releasing this figure in the US as just Hot Rod with no Rodimus Prime parts. They're also including a targetmaster gun. It should be much less expensive than the Japanese version. I picked up this one because Hasbro has a tendency to skimp out on die-cast and chrome parts. Plus, I like the Hot Rod to Rodimus Prime conversion.
How does he compare against Hasbro's 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime - G1 in terms of price, quality and scale? Anyone knows? Thanks for the upload Vegeta.
I remember when i was 6 (1989) getting the orginal toy Hotrod / Rodimus prime. It was alot smaller than that. if i knew how much they would be now i would have not played with then or damage it :(
