Yeah, why not stop the war for a year and there you go, right away $300 Billion towards implementing it is available. Stop it for another year and you have another 300billion for medical research. But you need people to demand it!!!
Japan's had these exact unit types installed for at least a decade...nothing new, were just behind as usuall. Of course this is a disruptive technology and as such it will take time to breakthrough into the market ie..breaking old thinking and existing contracts with firm who have lots to loose and will fight it tooth and nail.. like MSW co's with contracts and tipping fees as well as coal, natural gas, and Nuclear power production firms who's technology this solution would make obsolete....

I believe they produce more energy than they consume. Even if the balance is negative, it is still a viable solution for waste management.
