I mean, all tube + 179 new + sub 1watt = an amp that is built for two types: #1. people who play with distortion all the time, #2. people who have separate amps for distorted and clean sounds. My clean amp is a Hammond AO-44 reverb amp, from an M-100 organ (it's cool, look it up, the can be had for cheap) and my distorted amp is a Krank rev jr. If you like your cleans really sparkling clean, and your OD real saturated, you kinda have to have two when youz poe!

Replace V2 Tube with 12AY7 and you will get more clean headroom and slightly increase in overall volume. That's what i did

Its about half as loud as the champ (both hooked up to the 1x12). The champ stays way cleaner but the Blackheart is much more fun...
