on your gas tank petcock there is a vacuum line it has to has to have vacuum to release the fuel from the tank. and there is a relay for your fuel pump check it as well. let me know if this works..
@MrKillermiller well when we pulled the line off the petcock and turned it to i think reserve, it was a few weeks ago so i cant remember if we tried both or which worked, do you know the testing procedures for the fuel pump relay?i could google them but if you know them id rather take your word for it if you know what works
Maybe worth making sure that there is fuel in the carbs by checking that it's coming out of the tank (literally let some run out of the tubes onto a rag or something).
@BJMoorhouse we turned the tank to on or reserve or both, forget if we did em both and it comes out of the petcock. but when we disconected the hose from the carbs. so the one from the fuel pump to the carbs no fuel came out in any position idk if its because theres a blockage in the fuel filter or if the pump doesnt work. from what ive read the pump really only helps at higher speeds when the gravity doesnt provide enough fuel for the speed. im thinking check the fuel filter if it flows through

ive never used an ohm meter before either

Yea - it can only be fuel, air or spark.

imma try and borrow an ohm meter to check the pump. its not the fuse though i checked that
