  • very sexy

  • Congratulations , I just had my surgery donev2 weeks ago moly lower jaw but the soft diet is killing me I get so anxious to eat solid delicious food and I'm sure by the way I am protecting my self I probably sound like a fat obese women but I'm a hindered pounds lol I've lost about 3 ponds for not listening to the surgeon btw my surgeon was awesome walked me through the whole thing since I first sat in his office 3 years prior to races or surgery .. Well all in all you can't even imagine how ma

  • please tell me i might need this surgery

  • @mahestar too bad i am in dallas

  • costs?

  • @mahestar In Dallas, it cost about 60,000 dollars. It helps if you have a good insurance plan to get it covered.

  • i have the same problem. I hope to get my

    surgery in 8 months.

  • @r2cristi Good Luck

  • What you have is and underjet not a underbite. 2 completely different things. It's called a class III prognatism. If you had surgery it was most likely skeletal. All of this could have been avoided if you had the proper treatment of orthodontics at an early age, and by an early age i mean 7.

  • @MJCastellanos Yup, I agree. Whats an underbite then ?

  • @darthalias Meh... I wasn't looking at the whole picture. I apologize. Underbite (Openbite) and Overbite is in relation to the vertical axis. Your Upper Maxillary teeth in an Overbite can cover completely your Lower Mandibular teeth. In an Underbite or an overbite there can be no relation at all a hole in the middle.

Underjet a Overjet relate to a horizontal from a profile point of view. Underjet - Mandble is sticking out either cause the mandible grew too much or the maxillary didnt grow.

  • @darthalias In overjet the Upper teeth are in front of the lower front teeth considerably. But yeah your have a underjet AND a underbite (openbite)

  • Hey how much did the whole thing run u?? I'm planning to get mine done too....

  • @RohitRadhaK Thank god for health insurance

  • fuck underbites

  • how many week did it take you to go back to school after your surgery ?

  • @SuperOsharif

Probably 3-4 weeks. I still had significant swelling which gradually went away.

  • um when u were doing lke 4 and counting up u said 5 2 times

  • Thanks for posting this, I just had it done last week, so I was curious to see how long it'd take for the swelling to go down.

  • i had this done when i was 18, i'm really happy with it.. healing was awesome, but didn't u hate the soft food diet??

  • @aturn88 Hated soft diet. Lost over 15 pounds !

  • i have to get this done next summer, how painful was it??? i'm SOOO SCARED it will hurt!

  • I had my underbite corrected in 1991 when i was 18 years old. It was a very unpleasant experience. The surgeon wasn't forthcoming with all that was involved, ie the overnight stay in the ICU, the severe swelling-my face was big as a 15lb pumpkin, and worst of all the pain. It was the worst pain I've ever experienced, now 20 years later. That being said, I think with today's superior surgical techniques and painkillers, it wouldn't be nearly as bad.

  • @spugmy Thanks for answering my question! wish me luck

  • @FlpSideOfSanity You will do fine. Just be patient !

  • @spugmy I agree

  • @FlpSideOfSanity I honestly did not have any pain. I think its because they sliced my nerves in the process ??

  • lol arabs

  • I think you have great result with the surgery!

This is a good record of your changing face. I need to make one for mine.

  • you had inflammation for a really long time dude. I'm getting this shit done next friday. haha. looks like a freakin hoot... but you do look good afterwards. It's amazing.

  • @jasonroxorz

Don't let the swelling bother you. It will go down !

  • @darthalias yeah the noticeable swelling was gone in about 15 days. But it was pretty horrible before that. I like my jaw a lot better now though. At first I was questioning why i even went through with it but i got over that in about a week. the first 2 nights in the hospital are the worst... once you get through that tho, it's cake.

  • you had inflammation for a really long time dude.

  • @jasonroxorz Yep. Its because the face is very sensitive

  • do u have to wear braces b4 or after??

  • @Pencilhead202 I had braces for more than one year. Then I had the surgery with my braces on. After the surgery I had braces for another year in addition to a splint on my palate. So in total at least 2 years. Now I am braces free :)

  • @Pencilhead202 before and after

  • hey people check out my recent jaw surgery video , i had jaw surgery last year in december

  • does jaw surgery make u look better???

  • @vansaful i believe so

  • Nice Vid man.

Glad I live in the UK. THANK GOD FOR the NHS,

  • Beautiful job. Did you have any set-backs or residual impairments? Any issues chewing?

  • @Baci302

    Nope none at all

  • this has changed your face completely! for good don't worry!

do you feel that your whole face has changed?

  • @zaqujm111

yep it feels a whole lot different

  • congrats my friends, that was totally awesome. thank you and good luck

  • You look older and manlier on the left side lol

But you look good anyways... :D

Btw, does the two-month swelling hurt? I'm unsure about going thru one of these... :O

  • Wow! You look much more handsome!!! great .

  • How expensive was the operation?

  • @9415642 it was around 60k

  • @darthalias 60.000!? My doctor told me it's only 2.000 euros. (I'm from Montenegro)

  • @enter08com

In the U.S healthcare is very very very EXPENSIVE

  • how long does th swelling on the face last ?

  • @sfesfesfesfesfe The swelling on the face lasts about 2 months i think.... But my right side was a little bit more swollen because i had to do surgery on that side after 2 weeks of my first surgery ! So I still have little bit of swelling left on my right side even right now!!! It only goes away gradually.

  • @sfesfesfesfesfe ya i heard some swealing stay up to a year but its not too noticieable

  • @feburary13 yea thats true. It only goes way 'gradually'. Right now I would say I am back to normal and it has been 9 months since the surgery

  • intense..what bones did they break? and how bad did it hurt..:/

  • @RacheleRockedDaWorld

They cut my mandible and my maxilla if thats what you meant.......... to be honest I did not experience any pain at all after the surgery. It only hurt when i tried to bite stuff.

  • Always grand to see others in the same boat. Great Great Great haha.x

  • how long were you in braces before surgery?

  • @longbeach49ers I was in braces for a year and a half before the surgery. In fact, I still have the braces on, my orthodontist will take it off in a couple of months

  • damm nigga u look hell a different...lol...god bless you yo

  • i lost about 15 pounds, but i regained all that pretty quickly

  • Dang this seemed tough. You probably lost weight lol. Good luck in the future.
