  • Don't listen to those 'Canadians'...I live in Northern Ontario and there ain't a single person up here that wouldn't consider those walleyes trophy caliber. Nice goin.

  • why is their so many D-bags in this world, nice vid. :)

  • Great walleye video! Nice 4-5 pound walleyes! why peoplehave to be disrespectful is beyond me. Fishing isnt a competition, its about spending time with your friends and family enjoying the great beauty of what god has provided us. Also 666Nacar999 if your daughter can catch bigger fish, thats great but i think your missing the point of what fishing is about with those disrespecting comments.

  • Wow! See i find this amazing! But it wasnt exactly what i was looking for. Great video though guys! Keep up the good work, iv never caught anything ice fishing but im heading up to scugog this weekend for some pike and walleye fishing. Great video!

  • gotta edit out the 30 pulls to start the stx pro, they start but its usually a battle although mine has been behaving lately

  • "WAIT" yup still a a fag

  • you are a complete piece of shit. my daughter can catch bigger than you can with less gear

  • @666NASCAR999 Thats cool that your Daughter is a good angler, thats the main reason I post videos to help teach kids to fish. P.S. I hope you don't talk in front of your Daughter like that. Good luck Fishing Jim O

  • @666NASCAR999 I wish you were my dad...... Then maybe I would knock your front teeth out you condescending waste of redneck skin.

  • @666NASCAR999 I know your probably joking around, but i'll put it to you this way, any kid can catch huge walleye if their 'daddy' takes them to a spot. The main thing about walleye fishing is finding them, i doubt a little girl is smart enough to find a walleye spot on her own

  • I fish lake Winnipeg and using a tip up for walleye is un-heard of, dont you get alot more strikes when your jigging with some movment... no offence but your doing it wrong

  • is there a law of how far u can go from ur lines

  • Hey dancingwithwalleyes, im not too sure why people put negative comments towards this, it seemed like you guys really know what you're doing. Im pretty sure you're on lake-link also, im jigginpro on there. those are some quality walleyes for around here. i just wanted to say great job and good luck. me and my little brother really enjoyed this video. Im 17 and hes 14 and were trying to learn some good ice fishing tips for walleye and i learned some from this video. i would love to catch those.

  • I don't understand why they sit there and hold the line then feel for it?!? I've seen so many fish lost that way... Wait for the spindle to spin, grab the tipup and set the damn hook!

  • @BF3SgtSniper Hey SgtSniper, on this outting we tried to hit them on the run, but waiting to feel for them produced more hookups. We only lost two out six that we that we caught. All fish were released so if we miss a couple thats ok. Hey thanks for your input and good luck fishing.

  • i live in canada and your not a pro your lazy and rich i caught more yesterday that were way bigger and had far less expensive (equipment) lol

  • @Liebreaker99 Hi liebreaker, Well I'm not rich but I am a Guide and try to have good equipment for my customers. We released all the Walleyes and had a lot of fun. Fishing is not always how many and how big its getting out and enjoying the sport. Glad you had good luck fishing up in Canada have fun and thanks for your input.

  • @Liebreaker99 well i can see i was ignorant with that comment, its good to see guides that have good equipment and enjoy what they do, sorry for the poor attitude, i learned my lesson in the sense of dont jump to conclusions from a vid.......good luck and happy fishing

  • have you ever tryed a automatic fisherman im geting 1 in 4 days!!!!

  • did u buy the light or did it come with it

also what was the brand and model of the light

  • @AmazingZombieWeapons The light was extra and its made by Frabil. The nice part is you can hear and see it.

  • haha people actually use those orange hole covers very amateur and you dont hook minnows through the back you want to feel the dorso fin then hook and feed line before the hook set next time should come up to canada for an ice fishing lesson small fish too thats not nice thats tiny

  • @Majabobo1 Good to hear from you in Canada.I'm sure your Walleyes are much bigger but to me any size fish is fun. We use Beaver Dam tip-Ups Also, but on this outing the frabils did fine do to the cold temp. Thanks for your comments and good luck fishing.

  • @Majabobo1 Your a moron. Maybe you should watch the entire video, looks like a nice 4-5 pounder at the end of the video, that's tiny? Anywhere in Canada that is bigger then average walleye. Thanks for representing my Country in such a disgusting manor.

  • haha people actually use those orange hole covers very amateur and you dont hook minnows through the back you want to feel the dorso fin then hook and feed line before the hook set next time should come up to canada for an ice fishing lesson

  • @roger851

Our leaders are power pro 10lb dia 2lb.

We used our Vexilar to set the bait 18'' off the bottom.

  • what state is this in? Wisco?

  • @jordandumke

    Wisconsin Go Pack Go

  • what time of year is this? Jan. Feb. March???

  • @BigRedEraser

    early Jan.

  • hey man nice vid and fish...where do you get you buzzers and lights for your tip ups

  • @bigdawg335

Any Gander Mountain will carry the lights . They are made by Frabill

  • you lose fish when you use single hook setup like you got, better off with trebles

  • @Dewyea9

We always use treble hooks, during the film the Walleyes were hitting very short and light.

Everything we catch is released so to us its ok if the Walleye gets off and wins the battle.

Its all in the fun of the sport.

    Good luck

    Jim O

  • are you marking fish with the flasher before you set or are the walleyes just cruising around the known area? Good video!

  • what are you fishing on your tips? regular hook & minnow?

  • This is hardly fishing in my opinion >_>

  • @CrunchieDan Hi Dan sorry you didn't care for the video, Im just trying to get more people and kids to get out and enjoy the sport of Ice Fishing. Every fish that was caught was released.

    Good Luck Fishing!

    Jim O

  • @dancingwithwalleyes Yeah that's cool. I enjoy fishing whenever I get to go once in a blue moon. This just doesn't look like fishing to me, ya know. Setup a bait and walk away. To each there own.

  • Really? Your tired from walking to a tip up 3 in 5 minutes..pant pant.. huff huff..hahahah. Heart attack coming soon!! Quit pulling the dang line so hard. I have been ice fishing for 30 years and didnt lose that many fish in 2 weeks of fishing. Get a light for your camera jerk off. I hope you practice catch and release but i dont think you do..

  • @TSTOUT1000 Well I am 55 and did not film every tip-up that evening. We did have some hits inbetween. But thats no excuse I agre I am out of shape. The main reason I posted these clips is to people and kids away from TV and from behind the computer to get out on the ice to experance this great sport. I agree a light for the camera is needed. Last of all every Walleye that was caught was released. If I want a fish fry I visit a local pub. Good Luck to fishing and thanks for your input.

    Jim O

  • Jeez pullstarten that walleye huh, thats why you lose so many your pullen the hook rite out of the mouth just a slite tug is all u need, your a pro my ass

  • @willeox Sometimes fishing gets real exciting and you make dum mistakes. But to me thats ok , I'm still having fun and the Walleye needs to win some of the battles.

And hey a Pro is human we make mistakes just like anyone else.

    Good Luck Fishing

    Jim O

  • nice walleyes. you guys keep em? oh yeah i was wondering if i ever go out ice fishing for walleyes, what should i use for the jigs? types of live bait..

  • @FishboiFishboi Thanks, all fish were released. As far as jigs in clear water I would use Blue/white or black. I ndirty water I would use bright orn,chat.,green.

as far as minnows I use suckers. Good Luck to ya
