The scene where she asks him, "What have you done to me?" I think is the most powerful scene in the film. Not a Madonna fan in the least, but I agree with all the postings that say this is a good movie. It has the Harlequin Romance for da ladies and the "Call me master..." for the men. When ole girl decided to give in and dropped to her knees and kissed his feet, I was like " Oh yeah!". See, that's all we want ladies, total surrender. Is that too much to ask? As Mr. E. said, "Dance for me."

I think the problem is that many people didnt get the irony of this movie (which ritchie explained actually) it's also very european and a remake from a very, very good (and extremely political and sexist) italian movie. if youre used to only seeing american movies, you'll hate this (also if u believe what the morons of tabloids tell you) its very different. thats why i love it. people just need to be more open minded & watch more foreign films so u see it with a different perspective.

first of all, the trailer didn't do this film justice. i just watched the whole thing and i thought madonna was great, and very attractive in it (thanks guy!). admittedly the first part was unbearable. but once she got rid of her fancy clothes, makeup, etc, she was quite funny and she even managed some real poignant moments. it's also extremely refreshing to see madge in a submissive role and being slapped and pushed around.
