In 1972, when these episodes were being played for the first time, I was a student at the University of Florida and lived in a trailer park near the campus. I can remember walking home from the university in the dark, and this theme music was being played from every trailer as the show was coming on. This is what we watched and the sound filled the air like a concert. It was very cool.
I've neen wondering if the guitarist Steve Vai was influenced by this theme when he recorded a song called "For the Love of God" released ~1990. Anyone else hear the similarities..?
Is this on a CD?? Where could I get it?? Always loved this music, keeps you going on, pushing on!!

Beautiful. Interestingly, I think it may have been the very first television theme song I have ever heard.
