Not cool to say those things to his face, but in reality, Callahan sucked ass. Even worse, we had the worst defensive coordinator of all time. Our defense went to hell with that Skipper from Gilligan's Island lookalike Cosgrove. Actually, the Skipper woulda done a better job as our defensive coordinator.

I have been a Nebraska Football Fan my whole life. I was not a Bill Callahan supporter, but I trusted our A.D., TOM OSBORNE, to handle the situation accordingly.

Also, I NEVER supported Steve Pederson and was upset that Coach Solich was fired after winning his 9th game of the season. I was never a Callahan "fan", but I hoped for his success, because his success translates into Nebraska being successful. Sadly it didn't and Coach Osborne made the right decision to let him go.

On one hand I understand why the people said what they said. Callahan was your typical politician coach, Cosgrove destroyed our proud blackshirt defense and Pederson ran our program like a bussiness, not giving a damn about how far the program fell as long as it still made money. At the same time, things like this are what Colorado fans do...I hope we never have a crappy system with people like them agian, at the same time, I hope the fans never become what they despise about other teams fans..

Bottom line is that Bo is here now and things are getting better. While I agree with the thoughts expressed in the video. One must remember that those guys human beings like you or I and you have to assume that they did not WANT to fail, they just did. I am sure they tried hard, it just was not good enough. No reason to treat them in a disrespectful manner. They are men like you or I, with families and a job. They just happened to really, really stink at their job here at Nebraska.
