hysterically funny show. So many memories...the Monks who say M between every word...the speed freak pharmacist ("There's too many people in here!!!")...great stuff.

I met Maryedith Burrell way back when, when I was in the 6th grade (1996). She's from my home town and was friends with my 6th grade teacher. Came to class to talk about her acting experience. In retrospect, it's kinda depressing now, seeing as I think the last thing she acted in was playing "nun #2" in Ready to Rumble, back in 2000.

@MrChasjoo1 same here, but because it came on friday night, and i was in my twenties, i wasn't home to see them. but i do remember two, the pharmesist, and the one where michael was going to an interview to be a '' fairy'' in a play, and of course he got the wrong kind of ferry.... is that one here?

Larry David looks like Steven Wright with that hair-do. Thats crazy LD and MR acted together in a sitcom, so funny. This show is pretty damn good for a show in the 80's.

Why is Michael Richards blocking the release of this comedy show on DVD? I doubt there is anything he did on the series that would put him in a bad light today. Why deprive fans of the show and an entire new generation of potential fans the right to own this.

Actually Michael Richards was not Larry David's first choice for Kramer. Jerry Seinfeld insisted on giving Michael the part.

Does anyone remember a sketch that I think was referd to as "The Attack of the Snappy Things" ? Those days are a bit blurry to me but as I recall this really was good competition for SNL. Very funny troop.

I couldn't agree more! S.N.L., at least back in those days, was too full of drug-addled humor...Plus, Fridays featured famous music acts instead of S.N.L.'s bizarre underground---once again---drug based stuff. Miss that show, Fridays!

I used to love this show...Not many people remember or know about it...ANNNND I was blown away because I didn't realize that was Larry David. HighIQBoy, do you have the episode where Melanie Chartoff was literally KO'd during a sketch...Priceless.
