I feel that it is just the state of the world today. People are working insane amounts of hours weekly and time to be able to brew a cup of coffee just doesn't seem reasonable. Eventually, it becomes a habit and they don't see another alternative. Next thing you know, millions and millions are given to a corporation who makes your coffee for you, when you can make it yourself and can more than likely do it 10 times better!

I'm glad I found this video! Why pay someone to make you a coffee anyway no matter where you buy it??? In this piss poor economy I just cannot believe people my age around 25 are so stupid. I can understand the younger kids but seriously we are supposed to be saving money. As for Starbucks being a luxury coffee...what a shitty luxury LOL I could go out and buy new speakers in two years so I can listen to music whenever I drive. how about a vacation ???? I could get a fucking extra large coffee for a fucking dollar at Tim Horton's while the venti coffee size is like fucking 5$ plus tax... I could get fucking 4 extra large coffees at Tim Horton's for my family at a fair price..if it was starbucks it would cost almost half a fucking pay check for 4 venti coffees..

Venti is italian for 20. 20 ounce cup. America is the only market that has Venti because of consumerism. Much like supersize at mcdonalds. Other countries only have short tall and grande. i make a better cup of coffee at home with my old school grecca and bustelo coffee than any entry level barista from starbucks. please, the few times i've been to one of those places. i feel like jumping over the counter and giving those nimb rods a lesson on coffee brewing.

Just to give you heads up, though: "venti" is a word; it's Italian for 20, probably used because it's a 20oz cup or something. The other names are Italian, too, so I guess that was a choice they made. Except for "Tall", which, as you say, just makes no sense.

Tall makes sense because there is a short size. Originally it was on the menu. People can still order that size and it is used for kids beverages. So, it is actually Short, Tall, Grande and Venti.

Yes. Like North Carolina, Starbucks sucks so much it hurts. Then again, since Starbucks is corrupt as hell as FUCKING SEATTLE, WASHINGTON (where the fucking corporation is based in). The ppl. who go/work there are selfish, unfriendly, nauseating and any negative thing that comes to mind. Starbucks should relocate to CORRUPT NORTH CAROLINA.
