in what format do u recommend to rip the audio? i tried ogg and ac3, and it's looks like a two channles stereo. i'm using Audition cause i've seen you are too, but i can't work with the 5.1 channels. what to do?
you mean ripping the audio from the DVD? I'd recommend AC3, but before you can put that into Audition, you have to convert the AC3 5.1 channels into 3 different stereo MP3s (spliting all the channels into 3 different files [5.1(6) channels ---> 3 stereo files])
I'd recommend using HeadAC3he, for that step.
Yeah, Audition is pretty awesome. but it can't work with 5.1 audio directly, so that's why you need to split them.
and can u do this w/ any dvd? i've tried muting out the center channel but i always still here the voices a lil bit. also about the frequency spectral thingy, do u use black boxes to cover up a little graph that shows u where the voices and effects r and stuff?
it always depends on how they mixed in the 5.1 channels... check out the other 5.1 audio channels, there are a few mixdowns available on the dvd, heck check out the other languages.. sometimes they only mix the voices in the center channels
it a mixture of muting the center channel (where the voices usually are) and editing in the spectral frequency display. then I mix it all down to stereo.
Thanks so much! This is awesome XD I'll post a fandub as a video response as soon as I make it XD (first step find a Jasmine but that should'nt bee too hard jeje) What program do you use to take the voices away? Adobe Audition?
