I love this fish! kind of hypnotized by them. Every time I go to the zoo I spent most of my time there just watching at this fish. Then i go checking on other animals but always be back to them again!

@fireflame40 Dude, that's stupid. Feeders have a reputation for being extremely sickly and fatty. Pellets are easy to obtain and have more nutrition than feeders. Besides, do you know how much it will cost to maintain feeders for that monster for ONE feeding? Pellets are the way to go.

@paulvdhoek frogs are the greatest survivalists tool, if you are by a stream in the summer and you dont see frogs then dont drink from it, if you do see them then drink from it cause it's safe. frogs are sensitive to stagnant water and are a sign of a healthy environment

costing me 400 euro's everytime

Oh my gosh, they're so huge and cute!!!! I have an Australian Arowana and I think he's a lot of fun to feed. I can only imagine how fun these guys are to feed! Arapaima are such gorgeous fish, they look so healthy here.
