do you guys carry any tools or are you the TOOLS!!! Nice welding helmets what's with the pancakes. you guys should carry a crescent wrench and then you could make more than $50?hr. In Alberta the rate is $120/hr and yes you have to be able to weld. You can't just show up with a nice rig and make $120/hr!!!

@evanemac Move into Alberta find yourself a welder, be a welders helper for 3 years get paid alot doing that then become a rig welder in the pipeline up here, i make about 1000-1600 a day depends size of pipe and what im welding.

I don't care what anyone thinks, welders work hard for their living. I give a lot of respect to pipeliners seeing how they are gone from home for months at a time. Me personally have not been on a line but am looking for my chance to step up...

Well pipewelder, the bead hands on the front end don't line up the pipe, but they leave their rigs in the yard. They don't have time to sit. If the welder is working on tie ins, we DO line up and space the pipe. Don't pretend to know our business unless you've been there.

You are a total douche. First off, learn proper grammar. Instead of using the word "intill" you should use the work "until." Secondly, the term "pipeliner" is a name given to someone who works on a pipeline. i.e. you are a douche so I would refer to you as a doucher. Finally, a pipeliner is a tradesman who lays out, assembles, fabricates, maintains and repairs mechanical piping systems, that being said the term pipeliner is a colloquialism for the term pipefitter.
