  • Sensational feeling from 2:26

  • RIP Chuck!

  • RIP CHUCK!!

  • If this didn't stop abortion, what will????

  • @songsterrmaster Why would it? This isn't a pro-life song....

  • Wish Chuck was still around to speak more prophecies to come!

  • Abortion! When it is needed. Execution! For those who deserve it.

The giving and taking of life will always beeeeeeeeeee!

  • This Song is not about abortion & who's pro-life or pro-choice. It's about the systematic killing of someone & should they be able to or not. The Death Penalty is no better than the fiend their killing, or abortion is the governments way of saying this is how you'll deal with your problems. Basically, its a nod to the penal system & government saying who gives you the right to make such a decision.

  • In this album he sings like Derick Green, wait,Deric Green sings like Chuck Schuldiner!

  • @TheGuiPB wtf? Derick Green could never dream to be half as good as Chuck was!

  • @Awesomermac I know man,but in this album Chuck got an voice that looks like derrick green voice,im not saying that one is better than the other,im just comparing them

And btw Death > Sepultura :P,and i am brazilian

  • @TheGuiPB I dont think their voices sound the same at all. I love Chuck's voice on this album, and I dont think it sounds like Derick. I like Sepultura with Max & Igor anyway. Thats the real Sepultura lineup. The Arise album is their best.

  • @Awesomermac Yeah its my favorite lineup too.but my favorite album is Beneath The Remains, but Arise is extremely good too

  • My favorite death album! And my favorite Death Metal lbum too!

  • Abortion, when it is needed. Execution, for those who deserve it. The giving and taking of life will always be, Altering the Future.

  • Such an awesome song. This would scare the living shit out of the pussies on the radio

  • Hail Death!

  • Chuck was the prophet of Death Metal

  • This is one of the most philosophical songs I ever heard.

  • @MusicToMurderTo

  • This is my favorite Death album. Most people might like something else from them but this is my favorite partly because of the guitar sound was more IN YOUR FACE and the songs were really perfectly written IMO.

  • @Wrathofkala Me too!And this song is my favorite by them, and Low Life is my ringtone

  • @Wrathofkala This one and Human are my favorites.

  • NigguhNigguhNigguh (= Song = Very good.

  • This song has the best guitar solo in all metal history..100% sure of that..

  • Abortion should be legal if you're like some prostitute, or in such a awful situation, that the baby would grow up and be illiterate, and homeless, then Abortion is necessary, but if just some chick that accidentally got pregnant, and she's a "normal person", and she is 17 or whatever and she doesn't want the baby, then she's not aloud to have abort, because she made a terrible decision. So it should be legal according to the mother's "lifestyle".

That's a simple answer to this HUGE argument.

  • @ChuckSchuldinerRIP0 In what way is that answer simple?

  • whose choice will it BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • Pro life metal? olololo

  • They were so far ahead of their time! One of the few bands who, if played 30 years ago or 30 years in the future, it would still stand on its own. Chuck truly "Altered the Future" \m/

  • @wattsta07 any metal album played in 1960 would stand on its own... except maybe metalcore

  • @DrFizz28 agreed

  • @wattsta07 I guess what you're saying is a little....Symbolic

  • @MrPie455 YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Truely a classic piece. Death just set the pace in metal at that time. Chuck is missed!

  • @22ndengine agreed... however, i think they still set a precedent that many progressive/death metal bands seek to emulate

  • @gremlinbd

    Like new Decrepit Birth?? haha

  • @Trippinhighman Decrepit Birth? I've heard about that band. Essentially what is Decrepit Birth, like?

  • @ChuckSchuldinerRIP0

Started out as a brutal death metal band then began to slowly turn more melodic, which is still great. But their newest release sounds a little too much like Death in my opinion. The way the guitars are harmonized is what makes me believe this.

Still a great band and worth checking out though!

  • @Trippinhighman You mean "Old Skool Brutal-Deth"? That's the genre that "Old Decrepit Birth" would be called "...slowly turn more melodic, which is still great. But their newest release sounds a little too much like Death in my opinion." You're implying that "Old Decrepit Birth" is better then Death( I'm not saying you're perspective in music is incorrect, I'm just curious of why you think Brutal Death Metal is better then Progressive/Technical Death Metal). "Heaviness">Skill, in your opinion?

  • @ChuckSchuldinerRIP0

Noooo I think you misunderstood what I was saying....

I meant that Decrepit Birth started going for a more melodic sound as they grew as a band. Matt Sotelo said that they wanted to play more thrashy sounding stuff. I'm not sure if you thought I was ripping on either band, becuase I wasn't. I'm a huge fan of Death aswell as Decrepit Birth.

    That's why I came here!

  • @Trippinhighman Ohhh, I thought you were "ripping" on Death. Death is my number-one band.

To be honest, I'm biased about "Brutal Death Metal", the only Brutal-Deth I've ever listened to was, "Ultra-Brutal Death Metal", which sounds like noise, Guitars are tuned down to like Drop G, and the drums have no sense of rhythm, and the vocals sound like burping(3 minutes of burping). Look up the band Putridity, I don't know if they are misanthropic but their music is very misanthropic.

  • @Trippinhighman I just looked up "Putridity"(I haven't listened to that band in like a half a year), it doesn't sound so awful now, it has some rhythm, and the guitars must be tuned to Drop A, and the drummer is a beast(I can't even hear the bass).

  • @ChuckSchuldinerRIP0

Yeah I've heard a couple tracks off the new album. Being heavy doesnt take away from the skill. There's just different ways to apply it to the music being created. Some bands choose to make it melodic and others choose to make it brutal. Just different emotions that the muscians are trying to express.

Check out Defeated Sanity, you might like em.

  • gods death metal chuck.vaaaau.

  • abortion is fucking METAL

  • perfect piece

  • Classic
