Merci, Tim.
I recorded this song also and really find it to be a song that captures the feeling of a relationship that has gone south made even more complex by the love of another. Human emotion in a song expressed so well the sin of love to the wrong one.
I used two tape recorders ten years ago on this one, and then dragged it out of a drawer somewhere and put a few pictures together.
I heard it when I was a teenager, and that would be more than 40 years ago.
You are the first gentleman to comment on it. Not every song will take a steel. "Roseville Fair" by Bill Staines is a song does not need any more than two guitars and a bass.
Now that 's a kind comment to make about a song I put together using two tape recorders. I had nothing else to hand. It's the quality of the composition which motivates the singer. I must get round to putting a few more up on You Tube. Thank you for your interest. I think my favorite of yours is Charlie's Shoes.

Dear Mr. Walker,
I used two tape recorders ten years ago on this one, and then dragged it out of a drawer somewhere and put a few pictures together.

I hope I can manage it.
Many thanks for your enthusiasm,
Tim.
