Ghost Hunting at Maltby Cemetary (Highlights)

I've been here 6-7x in a 3 year period - most recently June, 2011 if I remember correctly. They've never had a dog before so if they do now then that really sucks BUT unless it's on a HUGE leash (the cemetery is probably 75' away from the house) then it really shouldn't be that difficult to get a small group of people into the cemetery undetected.

Okay! Me and a friend literally just went to find this cemetery, we found the trail and everything after trying for about an hour! But once you reach the house, the owners bulldozed a bunch of tree branches and stuff so you couldn't enter the property. We tried to go around, but we heard a dog start barking all loud. haha and we started running. The trail was creepy though!

@killacam2644 Once you get into Maltby, you take a left onto Paradise lake road. and literally, its exactly 2.4 miles on that road you will see a dirt turn off.. and across will be a guardrail. You walk on the path a ways. But we couldn't get to the cemetery, they bulldozed off the path before you reach the house. The house owners also got a protective dog. lol.

Hahaha so I live in Duvall. The cemetery is easy to find. But its vert hard to go in without getting caught. No, no guy shoots at you but the owner does detain you and call the cops. Cant blame him. Since its private if anythimg.happens or you get hurt, he gets sued not thr city. But even driving by its creepily scary. I always get a weird feeling. No, order of pendo isnt about the masons either like everyone thinks hahaha. I would know. But no doubt theres a lot of activity there

I have been hear quite a few times when i was younger i remember when the stairs were still there. I don't know if the crypt was haunted or not but it defiantly gave off an eerie vibe. If i remember right they filled it over in 1990 because a girl fell down the steps and broke her leg at least that's what the story is. If you go to the Maltby cafe they can give you directions on how to get there but you have to ask the right person.

I used to sneak in when i was in high school in 92! The steps were long gone then! Supposably under the grave marked order of pendo? I neer saw any thing wierd! Was supposably the second most haunted cemetry in the world at one time? Title now belongs to Stull Cemetry in Kansas! Very simmilar Urban Legends!

Yeah man I was gonna say...that can't be the big cemetery because you can't get in unless you sneak in. Apparently the only way you can enter is if you have proof you know someone who is dead there. Plus as you said you didn't find the crypt and also apparently there's another part of the cemetery being guarded by a spirit and if you get past the spirit, you go insane. I live in WA too.

Interestingly enough not the second most Haunted Cemetry in the world like Urban legend told me as a kid! Not even on the list. But has generations of history to the place! I have not been there since Haloween on my Junior year allmost twenty years back! Never saw any thing though! Now the ass holes in houses will not let you in. @STACHELEK75 Ya that's easy, just park on the gravel pull-off on the side of the road and hike up the 5-10 minute trail then you'll be in their backyard (which is very long and narrow; like 125' from the house is where you enter I'd estimate...) and the cemetery will be on your left with the house on your right - easy.

Oh and to anyone seriously scared of the police showing up while you're there - don't be! The six times I've been there I've been moderately quiet with 2-4 friends with me each time and there has never been so much as a house light turned on much less the cops called on us....just use common sense and you'll be fine.

I've been to Maltby about six times over the past two years as a result of a very clear EMF my friend caught on his cell phone about the 4th trip we made up there....there was a pause and then something said, in a VERY clear whispering tone, "They're after you!" ! I would love to visit Maltby again if any of you are down for it...I'm in the Lake Stevens area so it's not much of a drive for me any off-night....let me know!

Ahhh! This brings back memories! I went up there with a few friends about 8 years ago and I totally saw the little white dog. It was yapping at us then all of the sudden it just wasn't there. I've heard stories about the dog and the cemetary since I was very young. My parents used to party there. Also once at the beginning of the trail a friend and I saw a misty ghost like form run in front of the car we were in and disperse into the sky. If anyone has more pics/vids I'd love to see them!

i wennt up there, today, oct 10, 2009. we were headed toward remlinger farms, for those rides and crap, but my dad noticed paradise lake rd. on the way and we just had to stop and check it out, yah this was only day time, but its still creepy, my little sister, the youngest is 7 went up in there to the cemetary, all we saw was a practically mute pure white dog on the way throught the trail, and a cat. It was just so creepy, but id go again.

Everyone Meximega is my brother. This cemetary is no laughing matter...... The 7 steps to hell was horrifying.... After the 5 step, phantom dogs started barking but were no where to be found... I have researched about the subject of dogs and they were none other than the legendary Hell Hounds....... The whole cemetary changes were you descend down the steps.... Those pictures however belong to me and give nightmares you wouldnt ever imagine...... The images are sooooo Fucked up....

I live in Washington and have taken photos within this very cemetary....... The stuff that's in them are horrifying... If anone has ever played Doom before, a lot of those symbols and fucked up images of scrunched faces are ALL REAL. oh, i almost forgot, there use to be a sign nailed to this tree, just before you entered the cemetary.. it read, "survivors will be prosecuted". awesome.

i use to go up there all the time when i was younger (about 10 years ago). the cemetary itself is located in the backyard of someones house. the place is pretty creepy.

I drive on that road everyday, I'm pretty sure I know the general area the cemetary is in, because I always get this really uneasy feeling in this one spot and have to speed up to get out of there. Props you to ya'll I'd be scared shitless of the evil and the POPO!!

dude u mutha fuckaz r stupid! its the 7 steps 2 hell meaning the graveyard is terraced into 7 steps, apparently no one has evermade it to the bottom with out being scared to fucking death! I KNO i did it back in 96 when i lived in bellevue, dude that shit aint no joke! we thought we saw something glowing in the trees after about the 4th step and then everything went silent and the woods changed on us and we couldnt get out! There's a backroad on Maltby road with a forest on the left and a downhill of houses on the right. Halfway down the road there's a spot where about two cars can park near the trees. There will be an upper left pathway into the forest and you follow it for like a half mile. There will be a fork in the path and you need to go left. Follow that until you hit an open area with a huge mansion and that's where we went. We didn't find the big graveyard. That's not exactly specific though. Sorry.
