if u fast toggle weapons (in this case,Chaff Grenades),you dont make any footstep noise.also,he probably does it to keep himself entertained while hes rushing

you might have a different version of the game than this guy (like i do). its actually in the water! equip the mine detector and youll see it on the radar!

in the cutscene it explains that u can change the cards shape by putting it in room temprature, cold air, and hot air he just changed the temprature

bingo, when you constantly equip and unequip, snake never really takes a step and therefore he never makes a noise on the grates.

you can get them when you enter the tank hangar for the first time. first you get the socom in the truck outside. then go upstairs, in the airduct. then in the tankhangar, the second door, the level 4 card is open for now. theres a surveiliance camera inside, and the termal goggles

It stops the floor from making noise because your stance is constantly changing. Think about where he was during the specified time you said.

Twin Snakes offers an easier way to heat and cool the PAL card through a steam and liquid nitrogen pipe located on a ledge you can drop to. Just shoot the pipe and have the key equipped. Bingo! Instant heated or cooled key!
