The M1A1 shouldnt have had higher stats than the Garand (assuming they wanted the game to be realistic). The M1 Carbine fired a pistol round, had a shorter barrel, and a little metal flip-sight. It was designed for truck drivers and mortar men to have a quick rifle in case they needed it. The Garand fires a bigger round (.30-06) and has a longer barrel, and the sights are adjustable up to 1000 yards (and can be adjusted for windage). This translates to more damage, longer range, and accuracy...

It had much more less recoil, than the Tommy gun, and it had more precise build(better accuracy)

Yes, it's used a bit smaller bullets, but also had higher muzzle velocity, wich made bullet energy about the same(Tommy: 650J at 275m/s, mp40: 641J at 380m/s -> about the same damage)

Because of the higher ROF, mybe the Thommy gun was better in extreme close range battle(out of letter)

I noticed they said there was a drum Mag for the Carbine, there actually wasn't. There was however a 30 rd Banana Clip made for the M2 Carbine, that also fits the M1 Carbine. The M2 Carbine is a select fire version of the M1, it can select between Semi-Auto like the M1, and Full Auto, sort of like the Pack-A-Punch version of the M1 in Der Riese( just bullets not Plasma bolts, lol)
