my personal opinion... the song isn't bad... the base line is wicked, Lars kinda has some mini-drum-solos in between, but sounds over-produced... the guitar solo seems like bits and pieces from other great metallica solos... as for the rest of the guitar sounds and james's voice... yeah... theres place for improvement...

I can deffinatly hear a big change in direction of the music since Rob joined, for the better, we'll have to see but alot of the vocals are going along with the guitar/bass which is often what Rob's old band Suicidal Tendencies did

Bit of an average song...I felt really bored while listening to it. Lacks any sort of surprise, quite predictable. Solo is quite unimpressive. The "Suicide I've already died" bit is probably the best part of the whole song and it's not even partly breathtaking. Still giving the guys respect and anticipating Death Magnetic. Bit of an average song...I felt really bored while listening to it. Lacks any sort of surprise, quite predictable. Solo is quite unimpressive. The "Suicide I've already died" bit is probably the best part of the whole song and it's not even partly breathtaking. Still giving the guys respect and anticipating Death Magnetic. But so far not impressed one bit.

They will always be my favorite band but please, please make this a thrash album. Listen to Battery, is there a better song? It's all about the spirit of thrash - kicking the fans ass and them giving it back to you. I don't care if they just rearrange the words - if they write a song like Battery I'd be more than satisfied.
