Tagalog doesn't mean "taga ilog", your truly wrong... tagalog is different from taga-ilog... you should learn tagalog before you make criticism..okay? anyway, I'm not angry, I'm just only defending the truth...

That is what has been established as the origin of the word "Tagalog." It's not an insult. Research it. Tagalog is not "our" language either. My parents are from Cebu. Their language is Cebuano or "Bisaya." Tagalog is something they are required to learn, but they don't think of it as "their" language.
