The pizza crust will always be somewhat burnt on the outside but that's just how this style of pizza is and personally I like the nice blend of flavors from the smokey, burnt crust and besides the crust nothing else is burnt. Cooked to perfection, I loved Modern Pizza and prefer it over the soupy mess of a pizza I had at that overrated Pepe's.
