74 Royal Albert Hall Gryphon supported Steeleye Span. When they announced their 18 minute magnum opus there were groans and continued chatting. 18 minutes later they concluded the piece to a stunned audience who were overwhelmed by the music. Loved them ever since.

What an amazing concert. Three of us travelled down from the Midlands and all three of us were born the same year Gryphon released their first album 1973. This music is brilliant. The Juniper Suite and Midnight Mushrumps were certainly the best. We want more tours and more albums.

And I thought I was the only one who remembered them! Also saw them play as a teenager with the Yes sets and I was immediately hooked. I still play the vinyl LPs as this music is timeless. If only they would do a world tour. I was actually till now unaware of the fifth album (Treason) and from what I've heard on YouTube it was probably best not made.

@jonseligman I love Treason and consider it as good as any album they've made. But that's just my opinion.

Went to see Steeleye Span in 74/75 City Hall Newcastle Upon Tyne, these guys were supporting..............better than Span, wish I had been in the UK to see them at this reunion, cant beat them.....brilliant!!

I seen these guys open for YES in '74 and have not stopped listening to them since. It's a real treat to see them again.
