Where are the figures Ms. Diamantopolou? Discrimination against women needs to be dealt with on a local level, within existing laws in each country. EU social policy would not save money but rather cost enormous amounts of it, and the results would be wastly ineficient, requiring even more money to get things working. EU does not need social policy.
