the oil industry has not been able to stabilize in Iraq due to widespread chaos.. therefore we have not had the ability to gain profits and oil from the region. this is why gas prices are still so high. iraq is a way for bush and his cronies to battle opec and exert control in the oil economy

The plan to cease Iraq's oil fields is a long term one. Its meant to give corporations the oil reserves of the world for future control This investment requires millions of dollars so speculation and uncertainty in the market ensues and prices rise for their benefit. When its said that the war was for oil it didnt mean that it was going to benefit the middle class, it is in the benefit of a global operating oligarchy who uses energy in their own benefit. did you know that only 0.378 million barrels per day while Canada supplies 1.784 million barrels per day. and all of the top 5 provide over 1.300 million a day and do you know what number iraq is... 7 out of 15. 73 percent comes from the top 5 and 88 from the top 10. so we don't even get that much oil from Iraq comparativly and if you want to check it out here is my source...
