  • calling tim the enchanter 2013 wizard

  • I had the good fortune to see Rush on Canada Day 2010 in Kansas City. It was almost a religious experience. I was proud of the Maple Leaf Flag boys on that day for sure, eh.

  • I LOVE Rush with all my heart and mind, ok, but (here's the criticism part) why in the heck won't Geddy, Alex and Neil wise up and hire Rick Rubin to produce their next album? It would end up being possibly the best decision they've made since Moving Pictures. Imagine a six time platnum super album in 2011 for Rush? It could happen.

But regardless of what Rush does, I'll always listen to them.

  • lotta trols here i see

  • no words should ùbe whaisted when it comes to this band . absolutely absolute musicians !!!

  • Shut up narrator bitch. I'd rather have a stoned, drunk fan narrate this than some stuck-up bitch who knows nothing about this genre. Ehhhghh

  • @128pinkfloyd she narrates the male cathader comercials the same way.

  • I was there... by Rush in Rio. It was simply an unearthly sight to see those icons playing inside THE Maracanã stadium.

Its one of the memories one doesn't forget.

  • Neil wrote a book about his mental and spiritual recover called Ghost Rider. It chronicles his motorcycle trip of some 55000 miles from his toronto home to alaska to central america and many many points along the way, Well worth the read for a fan for several reasons, mostly because Neil opens himself up on a psychological level that is quite deep and shows his very private and intimate side - very rare for him.

  • Reading it right now...AMAZING BOOK....shame it hasn't got more publicity, because it really is well written and emotionally it just fucking rips your heart right out. Now I gotta go get on Amazon and find his other books.

  • great post thanks for sharing :)

  • Rush rocks iv seen them 4 times !!!

  • what have you done in your life douchefag

  • Lived a lot more than you

  • Rush is not for everyone. They are a aquired taste. Not everyone is going to like them. I am just glad I am one of them that likes the band.

  • That's why they're called Progressive, they take other forms of music and progress it to goodness.

  • Yeah 2112 Tom sawyer and limelight are all completely unoriginal. Whatever retard. Show me proof of one song they copied or where they have been unoriginal.

  • seriously, homeslice these people are incredibly stupid. how can you ever say the epic songs Rush have written could EVER be unoriginal? this world if full of complete jackasses who are completely full of shit...hey athosada you have no mind at all

  • Sorry I am bored,so I'm writing but people called runelord and homeslice do not need to tell me about music...

  • hahaha - funny :)

  • I agree about the grunge thing. The mid-late 90s stuff wasn't so great. But Snakes and Arrows is a masterpiece.

  • I'd say his voice is one of the best I'd ever heard, but you wouldnt have much ability to recognize talent, now would you...

I also dont get how people have the nerve to criticize Geddy Lee's high voice yet its perfectly alright for Robert Plant who's voice is arguably higher.

  • I would appreciate it if you never put Rush into the same sentence as Blink 182 ever again.

  • She said Neils last name wrong >8(

Blink 182 is not EVEN on the same level as rush..

  • rush rocks,

  • saweet, front row for that show was nice.... awyeah!
