@TheDannyhyde true, but you've obviously never seen judas priest live recently. Halford's close to 60, and still kicks major ass. Both guys are great live though.
what year was this from? i saw them 2 weeks ago and this song, live, just didnt deliver (the opening band, the Voodoos, were so much better overall!). its a hard song, i guess, vocally and otherwise.
@jfuentezhd he is very underrated as far as vocals go. Recently heard a live recording from the American Soldier tour where he did co-lead on Dead Man's Words and was very impressed!
@TheWorld21 Parker Lundgren is an excellent player for sure, probably the best since DeGarmo left, but I really miss Stone. He really brought an edge to the band that I think was missing for years.
On the Rage For Order Album Geoff Tate sings both lead and backing vocals. I like this version more with Ed Jackson singing the backing vocals. FUCKING AWESOME!!! AND WHAT A GREAT SONG!!!
this is just pure amazing Geoff doesnt get all the credit he deserves , to me the best vocalists are the ones who pull it off live and Halford can do it , Dickinson and scheepers can do it but i think Geoff lives gives queensyche there uniqueness live as well as on cd which makes him an amazing frontman/singer ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Yeah geoff lost started losing is range in the building empires tour. I believe that the best tour after that is the 2005 one with Judas Priest. Geoff was unbelievable there.
@TheWorld21 Actually I think it was the Mindcrime tour. Everything sounded like it hurt. He still had the range but he had to strain and it was starting to wain. I agree about 2005 though. Just about every show I've heard from that year has been sick.
@TheWorld21 geoff is bad ass all the time, he is close to 50 years if not oldr and can rock with very powerful vox. good band, the losers must be replaced!!! looks the same too!!

EXCELLENT performance! If only Chris had been there to add his background vocals to Eddie's it would've been perfect :)

I am really impressed with Geoff's vocals on all these You tube videos! I wasn't a die hard fan in the 80's, but I did like their music. Great Vid!

@jfuentezhd Too bad Chris wasn't there singing too. One of my big disappointments was when he left the band.

kelly grey wasn't a good choice... mike stone was better but queensryche never found (or looked for) a good replacement for de garmo.

@tchevy173 I must agree with that. I wish C. DeGarmo would come back.

@ozzfann I saw them a year ago, I can tell that he hasn't lose his range.
But he is trying to sing in lower keys, trying to take profit of the textures of his low ranges...
Such a complete singer
