I totally agree. I saw them in Detroit in 1990 just after that album came out, and they opened for Danzig. This was the song they opened with and I had never heard them before. They blew me away and I was a fan from then on. One of the best live shows I've ever seen and they put Danzig to shame. Kim Thayil kicked so much ass!

I know!! Kim Thayil's greatness increases the more and more I listen to Soundgarden. His contributions to the overall sound are unmistakable. It's like each time I listen to a Soundgarden song I hear a new lead guitar overdub that was put on by him. He made it cool to not give a real shit about solos, but still be a technical guitar players player. If that makes sense. I've started listening to SG more again with all the news about the reunion and all. I love it!

yea their both in D. actually their both kind of similar to the riff in voodoo chile as well, but that's in Eb. The singing melodies are all different though, voodoo chile is more minor blues based, even flow is minor blues but uses the major 3rd, and hands all over is more exotic, does use the major 3rd but also A / A# for a little more dissonance ? Sumthin like that, I'm no theory expert...
