Free trade = Migrant workers are unable to move freely and live in what used to be called company towns, where they are totally dependent and subject to abuses and deprivations. This is tyranny and a denial of human equality–and all of us are supporting it with our cheap I Pads and other electronic products. And yet we hear so much from our betters in the ruling class, along with their courtiers, that China is the model. Sure, if you don’t like freedom
Toyota constructed an auto plant on part of the 1,500 acres of free land given to them in Georgetown, Kentucky. The auto plant was built by a Japanese steel company using Japanese steel. The U.S. government granted a “special trade zone” so that Toyota could import auto parts from Japan duty-free. Financing was handled by Mitsui Bank of Japan. Total federal and state grants and incentives exceeded $100 million. These subsidies, of course, were courtesy of your tax dollars.
@bestwayusa1 What most Tea Party members don't realized is that the GOP war/bank machine hijacked the movement. "Occupy Wall Street"people warned not to let their efforts get hijacked (like the GOP hijacked the Tea Party)
We must all support the American workforce for fair wages and good healthcare for all. We must care more about are average wage earners and not so much For unscrupulous businessmen. Fair trade not free trade..Non-union workers would also benefit as employers would likely raise wages to match what unions would win in order to avoid unionization. They help fair wages to exist Buy American when you can. Go on line to - Made in USA.- Demand stores to carry more American products.
Tea partyYet They do it in USA, illegal donation came up during a parliamentary budget committee meeting last week. Maehara initially said he didn't know about it, but later acknowledged that his office accepted a 50,000 yen ($590) donation from a longtime supporter, an ethnic Korean resident of Japan whom he had known since childhood, and apologized.Japan's political funding law prohibits lawmakers from accepting donations from foreigners even if they are Japanese residents or born in Japan
Chinese importers, with the Chinese Chamber of Commerce, have ironically formed a lobbying front group ironically named American Coalition for Free Trade in Tires. The coalition is run by Jochum, Shore & Trossevin, a Washington D.C. lobby firm run by former Bush trade officials who are cashing in on their years of U.S. government service to advise foreign competitors. The law firm has used its ties to power to advise Chinese manufacturers on how to get around loopholes in the law (Shame)
Last week, the federal government reported that the U.S. trade deficit grew by 33 percent in 2010 to nearly half a trillion dollars. Most of the gap resulted from an imbalance in trade with China, which shipped $365 billion in goods to America but only bought $92 billion in U.S. goods. The resulting U.S. deficit of $273 billion in bilateral trade. This is not fair trade is it. China has a very lax-ed environmental rules and poverty wages. In other words doesn’t compete fairly, This must stop
Americans 93 % none union and our 7% union work force we must all unite for liveable wages and healthcare. Don’t be spellbound by the talking media heads of the unscrupulous companies and Gov officials who indirectly work for them. And are trying to put a wedge between us None of them are hurting are they. Support only fair trade! And USA products. Lets fill our coffers again. With taxes made by product's made here. Go on line to Made in USA.
