@dawsonscreek1000000 giroux is only 23 and still had more points than vanek this year which was his best year since 2007, hes only had 64, 64 and 53 points before this past season, giroux is ridiculous, he is physical, does the penalty kill and he wasnt even on the 1st PP unit this year cus of how young he was, he'll be our franchise 1st line center with schenn and courturier centering the other 2 lines

@dawsonscreek1000000 i know the trading proven talent isnt smart but when carter is the most 1 dimensional player that doesn pass, doesn hit, does shot up in the playoffs and all he does is finish the year with a decent amount of goals, the flyers didnt want to build a team around a player like that, giroux does it all, hes a perfect player to build a franchise around, richards is good but not wat he used to be, the last 2 seasons hes been slower, hustled less and much less points

@dawsonscreek1000000 richards was a our franchise player until his last 2 seasons and girouxs emergence, we wer going to trade carter to free up bryzgalov, we didnt need to trade richards, it could hav gone either way but he had trouble being the captain and we got a great prospect in exchange and simmonds isnt too bad either, the flyers team is much younger now, but they are more physical, hustle more, play both sides of the puck and a good goalie
