You definitely lose resources when you cancel buildings. At least as zerg, doing the double extractor trick you end up with like 2 or 4 minerals and you gather in increments of 5, so it takes a small percentage when you cancel a building.

Ok, that's not exactly what I mean. What I wanted to say is, yes, phoenix would defeat brood lords, but their measly attack, and the fact he had virtually no attack upgrade, while the zerg had armor? Means you would have to hve a LOT of them to tear them up quickly, while the spore crawlers would've eaten the phoenixes alive. Ok, he could've atleast neutralised the queens, but with fungal growth.. I dunno. Yes, I went too far, didn't actually think my sentence through.

@Sindaurion Phoenix vs Broodlords.. worthless? I suppose you really ARE quite bad, phoenix would just rip apart broodlords without support, as broodlords would be helpless to defend themselves. Couple that with the phoenix's attack and the fact that broodlords are just so damn slow.. yeah phoenix would be a great counter. Hell even WITH queen support, given the phoenixs have enough energy.. they would be able to pick up the queens and either kill them or render them helpless.

This protoss played slightly more retardedly than the zerg. Toss didn't utilize the mobility of his voids - he could have split them up into several groups and the queens would not be able to catch up. His stalker micro vs the brood lords was pathetic... most of the time he was just auto targeting the broodlings, which is so frustrating to watch. Of course he needed blink, but even without it, he could have sacrificed his stalkers to kill the BL's. Zerg needed roach support.

Wow ... That was awesome. ZvP , Macro , Micro , HIGH APM , Banelings , Void Rays Overpowered, Transitioning from banelings to brood lords , Thermal Lance , Ventral sacs. That game achieved it all. That was like a real life protoss vs zerg match, but i think it would've taken alot more time if it was real life.
