@curtisbressler You are partially correct. A cop can search your immediate area if he or she feels you may have a weapon there. So the trunk is off limits but anywhere within a "lunge-able area" is good.

I absolutely loved this video, Jazz you did a great job filming this. What was so shocking to me is the one officer's attention was solely on blinding you and your camera instead of paying attention to the men they were searching. That act was clear proof that they were guilty of rights violations and didn't want you to capture it on tape which you did anyway. This is why blacks and Latinos make up the majority of the prison population. I gave this video a thumbs up and Favorited it...Thank You

The 3 prong test has not been met.  There is no elements existing to believe that a crime is about to be committed, has been committed, or about to be committed. There is no articulable reasonable suspision. These cops are on a fishing expedition which is against the law. There is case log on this.
