I always thought the episode of Fresh prince was sad... but I think the saddest moment in all of television was, boy Meets World when Chet Hunter, (Shaun's dad) dies. That made me cry so hard when I was a kid. And it still does.

No mash clips i can think of 3 just form that show Death of Henry, the one were a guy was is a father of two young kids dies on Christmas and the push the clock forward to the 26th and the saddest when Hawkeye tells Sidney what final happen on the bus.

Out of your 5 the saddest is Will and Phil even more so when Phil most of the is mad at Will but is there when he needs him.

Blakes death, Edith crying in Archies arms after the guy tried to rape her, When Jackie overheard Dan on the phone with his gf at Roseanne's house, When Hop Sing wanted to marry a caucasian woman, by law he couldn't, he had to send her away, When Little Joe got married and his wife was killed, he and Ben were in real life grieving for Dan Blocker (Hoss Cartwright).

It took around 2 years before anybody mentioned anything from "All in the Family"??? Must be some really young people commenting here. For me, though, the scene where Mike and Archie say good-bye to each other kills me every time.

@PrinceLotor Also, what gets me is Mike and Archie standing by the kitchen door when Edith slaps Gloria and they talk about going to the police station. Rob and Carrol deserved an Emmy each for that look! Also, Elliot on Law and Order SVU when he is tearing up, gets me everytime.

Also, another All in the Family scene that gets me every time is when Archie kisses that woman and then pulls he head back a little and says dang, really the word that holds back water, and then kisses her again. My husband left me when I had a bad stroke and was in a coma for 3 days with 3 teenage boys. Can't stand cheating husbands!

I have never seen that moment on the fresh prince, never knew that happened. Damn well acted. Saddest moment for me though is Blakes death in M*A*S*H, for the fact the reactions are as real as possible. The script everyone read said Blake made it home safe, they only told Radar 2 minutes before the actual line, so everyones reaction is real.

The Fresh Prince clip hit a little too close to home for me. After my father dropped out of my life when I was 12 I thought it was because of me or because of something I did and thats why he didn't want his daughter anymore. I never got a reason or excuse, and never will. I got the news he passed away last August, he had cut everyone out of his life and the only reason his body was found was because his mailbox was overflowing. I think that says alot about him in the end.
