In contrast to M. Bell, G. Varley's sound to me appears straighter, more repetitive and more minimalistic, perhaps less experimental (which is not ment depreciatory), but it shares with it this clear, warm and spheric acoustic spectrum that is able to evoke this deeply-felt hapiness in me.
